Still waiting for a 50% off sale to pick this up. In the meantime, I'm avoiding let's plays and spoilery discussion of the game like the plague.

Nvidia releases 364.16 Vulkan driver, improved Optimus support, improved multi-threaded scaling

Quoting: DaVinceIn the graphics-drivers PPA [External Link] I'm seeing that the version is 364.15, updated 3 hours ago (at the time of writing this comment), not 364.16. Can I expect it to be the same driver anyway?
I doubt it. The graphics-drivers PPA is usually a day or two behind, it will probably be up on Monday. 346.16 is so new it's not even listed on Nvidia's own downloads page yet, 346.15 is still the most current on that page.

Same. I'm done with crowdfunding, even for companies I explicitly trust, like InXile and Harebrained Schemes. No crowdfunding, no early access, no betas, I'm only buying FULLY finished products.

Hopefully this game gets made and does indeed have Linux support (unlike the first game). If that happens, I'll look at it and think about buying it then.

Quoting: MalDiablo 3 with Steam Controller support. And local co-op.

The day we see that happen the earth shall shatter, lava will start flow in the country whilst legion of deamons will pour in our cities streets. And Sean Bean will not die in a movie.

For the last seal will be broken and the End War will begin!
Movies where Sean Bean didn't die:

Silent Hill
Silent Hill: Revelation
Troy
National Treasure
Black Beauty
Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief
Flightplan

I wouldn't buy Diablo 3 even if it did come to Linux because always on-line DRM, but I know plenty of people would, so it would be cool if that ever happened. It won't. We'll see Bethesda games on Linux before we see Blizzard games, and that ain't happening any time soon either.

Quoting: NyapWait, they ported sleeping dogs? but not for linux?
Hopefully it gets ported to Linux in the future. We've already had Squeenix dip their toes in the Linux poor with Tomb Raider, so hopefully Sleeping Dogs follows in the near future, since part of the work has already been done (translation to OpenGL).

Quoting: Segata SanshiroIn all seriousness though, a snow drift is an AVALANCHE.
The obvious answer then is Mad Max. Avalanche are the developers of Mad Max and nuts is a synonym for mad.

Please let this be true. Please let this be true. Please let this be true.

Flipping tables and kicking ass in Enter the Gungeon now on Linux day-1

Great game. It's basically Binding of Isaac except a little bit better. Works great with a 360 controller, requires significant tweaking with a Steam Controller, and, like most twin stick shooters, ironically, works best with m&kb (at least for me).

The Witness may one day see a Linux port, for fun or for ideological purposes

I guess I'll pass on buying it if and when it comes to Linux for fun or ideological reasons.

Oculus Rift has some shady stuff in their terms & privacy policy

I wasn't going to buy any VR headset right now anyway, I'm waiting a few years for an iteration or 2 and for the price to come down. That said, those terms are pretty crazy. I mean, I've seen some ridiculous stuff in EULAs before, but this crap takes the cake.
