<3 Spike Chunsoft & Abstraction Games <3

Day 1 purchase. I love the first game and I'm going to play the sequel as soon as I can.

Hopefully these PC ports are making them profit and we'll see a port of V3 not long after their Vita and PS4 releases later this year. Seeing Japanese developers embracing Linux warms my heart.

AMD could be back in the CPU performance game with Zen

I'll believe it when I see it, but I hope they do pull a miracle out of their ass. AMD has been a complete non-factor in the mid-high end desktop market for half a decade+ now. It's about time Intel had some competition.

As an aside, why compare to Broadwell when Skylake is out?

Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition patch out now for Linux

It should be noted that none of the changes seem Linux-specific. That said, the Linux port of D:OS is really good. That doesn't make up for it being nearly 2 years late (I will never forget nor forgive that), but it is a top notch port.

Total War: WARHAMMER might not see a day-1 Linux release

Given the state Total War games tend to be in at launch, this might not be such a bad thing. Still sucks, tho.

Rocket League due on SteamOS & Linux very soon [Updated]

I've been hearing "soon" for half a year now. Soon doesn't mean anything to me any more. Talk to me when it is actually released.

XCOM 2 Anarchy’s Children DLC releasing March 17, come see some screenshots

Quoting: rustybroomhandle
Quoting: seveni would rather see some mission and game modes DLC
I'm sure those are coming. It's just easier to release this sort of thing first, since the art team would otherwise have had little to do during the last phase of development and after launch.
This. Artists tend to be one of the first developers to have their work finished on a project, so they tend to have time on their hands while the game is being balanced, tested, and kinks are being worked out, that's why cosmetic DLCs tend to be the first DLCs released.

Anyway, I'll get this plus whatever other DLCs come along when I buy the complete edition of XCOM 2 in 9 or 10 months time.

Point-and-click adventure Kelvin and the Infamous Machine released in Early Access

Quoting: Segata SanshiroI just don't think early access and games with stories really mix, you're getting all the spoilers when the game isn't even finished yet and by the time it is at it's best, there's no longer an incentive to play.
Yeah, that was my thought too. I mean, I don't play early access games period, regardless the genre, but a point & click seems like the absolute least suited to early access genre out there.

Looks interesting. I'm a fan of point & clicks so I'll likely give this a look once fully released. Until then, I'm staying away.

As for The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizzaboy, I've been playing that for the last few days. It's fairly interesting with a decent sense of humor. The voice acting is hit & miss, some of it is solid, some of it is kind of wooden, but the music is great and the art style is amazing.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II and expansions look like they are coming to Linux & SteamOS

Quoting: PublicNuisanceDawn of War II was solid. Haven't played retribution. Would be welcome news.
Retribution was my favorite of the DoW2 games. The campaign is not as strong as the previous games and much less personal, but it has to be because you're not forced to play as Space Marines you actually have a choice of which race/faction to play, so the story has to be a bit more vague for it to work with anyone. Obviously, I played the campaign as Orks because Orks are awesome and hilarious. It's worth it for the banter between the Orks alone. Magnificent.

DiRT Rally also looks like it's coming to SteamOS & Linux
