Director of the one of the 2 most common game engines promises improved native Linux support, and of course it is the "Linux gamers" shitting on it in favour of Windows games via Proton.

You DO NOT abandon the architecture that 100% of products and service in your store programmed for unless your company's name is Apple. Translating Windows games into Linux on top of x86 to Arm emulation will not make gaming viable on Deck, contrary it would make it miserable. Sigh...

Let us hope they will keep the native Linux version support and the boss fairness adjusted. I played the original with my casual gamer partner in coop mode, had to cheat in the halfway just to pass end of chapter bosses.
