Funny thing, I actually disable any FF other than vibration when I tested wheels because of how terrible and unrealistic they feel to me.

One thing I can't stand on Logitech wheels is the feel and noise of the gearing. I have a license for 20 years now, and real cars do not have any of that. It completely breaks the joy for me. Also, force feedback on most wheels and games are waaaaaay wrong compared to what you get driving a car.

I heard some Thrustmaster wheels use a quieter belt mechanism, too bad they cost way more than the Logitech ones.

It look like a Xbox One Controller clone to me, like the ones Razer make. I swear I have seen that one before, but after 5 minutes looking on Google I couldn't find it.

On a rival? They are known to stuck a knife on their own clients. Ask Windows 7 users what they think about MS actions about Windows 10 down the throat upgrades.

Seeing he put the cartridge on the NES and power it on, I have to confess something: My first console was a top loading NES clone, since at the time Nintendo didn't have representation in Brazil. The first time I interacted with a NES was when I purchased one in later 2000's for my Nintendo console collection. So here I am, all happy for finally owning one and I set it up for testing, inserting a cartridge*, closing the lid and powering it on. Nothing happened. I check things, the power supply, connections, other cartridges, nothing worked.

I start to clean the cartridge the correct way (not blowing it like in the video), try to put the cartridge slightly inserted, slightly sideways, still nothing, nada. I start to look in the internet about the NES cartridge slot problems, and to my horror it is very common. So I was thinking the seller sold me a defective unit and I became very upset.

While looking at the slot, I notice that it was moving a little. So I insert a cartridge again and start to check the movement. I move it down, down, down and the thing finally clicks. Never being so ashamed in my gamer life...

I don't want to bash the guy, since he is one of the most important names on Linux gaming, after all he has done (witch I am very grateful BTW), but I remember Ryan before Steam landed on Linux, and the guy have a certain fame of... not finishing projects he started.

So I would suggest 3 things:

1- Something with finished development, no more patches on sight;
2- Something small, since he will be doing it on his free time and I did not see him wanting to digging up a mountain like a GTA V or Skyrim;
3- Something from a company friendly towards Linux.

The name is Alien Swarm. 1- It is long finished; 2- It is a small game from a familiar engine; 3- It is a fine game from a Linux friendly company, that somehow did not get a port while Valve was porting their entire catalog for Linux.

Knowing Ryan skills, it probably will be a quick port, something he can do with no pressure and that will fulfill that itch for porting he is having.
