Quoting: liamdaweI've noticed people often play actual roles too, I've seen so many people be a dedicated healer - very nice to see.
I've been playing roles too when I still was into that game. I played a dick. Literally. A flying dick built out of pink and red blocks. It was a bit underpowered due to aestetical limitations but I won many battles with it... probably people weren't able to concentrate when they saw that phallic phighter. I should definitely give this game another try.

Quoting: riddleyFun game! Got it based on the suggestion here. My only problem was that I couldn't figure out how to exit! I googled and all of the results suggested Esc then Q but that didn't work. Have they fixed that?
"esc" then ":q" then "enter"
It's a special feature for the linux version.

CrossCode, the rather good retro-inspired 2D Action RPG has a big update with more story content

I played this a while ago. I like the graphics and the style. However in my opinion the whole being-mute-stuff is horribly executed in a way that it's entirely implausible how other people react to her muteness.

But the real reason why I stopped playing this is the controls/balance: IMO it's way too hard when playing it with a xbox360 controller. I'd compare it to hyperlight drifter in terms of difficulty.

However this is about half a year ago... guess many things have changed since then.

But it looks like your version string still says 3.0... so I guess dying light still won't work with it? Anybody tested that?

As of this Steam Discussion [External Link] on February 15th, there was apparently no such option. An option I would love to see in any game since Pitstop II.

As I bought it this mornging, and its currently installing on my video recorder, I will tell you if I found it later on.
Thanks for your answer. That's a massive bummer for me... I've been playing Dirt 3 in wine for years in splitscreen with friends and was waiting for Dirt Rally to replace it. I hope they'll add that feature someday.

I've been waiting for that one. Good to know it performs well and is free of major bugs.

But I have one question left: Does it have a local multiplayer/splitscreen mode?

Quoting: InverseTelecineBut it's kind of impossible to judge a "city" builder by a trailer. Anyone tried it?
Yeah, great medidative game. I love the style and the soundtrack. Also the symbiosis of different blocks is a nice idea.

But it failed to keep me entertained for more than a few hours as I pretty soon had unlocked all buildings/blocks and there was no challenge anymore except from building higher which can be a pain in the ass because the strucural elements don't work like I expected them to (actually they didn't work at all).

But it was still early access when I played it (perhaps a month ago), so I guess this was just a bug. Also the possible arrangement of blocks (how to rotate them and from which side they can have access) is kind of unsatisfying/annoying all too often... eventually you possibly want the tower to look nice; but it's sometimes not possible to arrange it to your taste.

I think it's worth about 10€. Wouldn't pay more for it.

Another easy way to play it in resolutions > 800x600 would be to just play the HD-edition of HOMMIII via wine. Works flawless for me.

In addition to the last 2 posts: I'm playing on 2 machines with a R9 270 (mesa from padoka ppa) and a GTX970 (latest proprietary driver that ships with Xubuntu 16.04). They both feature about the same specs when it comes to RAM/CPU and so on.

The perceived framerate is the same on both systems with settings on "very high" - it runs smooth but shows noticeable performance-drops pretty often when driving around. As it's the same on both setups I assume the limiting factor isn't the GPU/driver.

I hope there'll be an update because otherwise the game is really great. Can't remember the last time I've enjoyed a AAA-title that much. Perhaps Monkey Island 1?
