Proton Experimental adds fixes for GTA V Enhanced and more for Linux / Steam Deck

Does anyone know if this continues your saved game from Legacy (on Linux)?
I don't think that works, to get you save from Legacy to Enhanced is kind of a PITA :
You need to launch GTAV Legacy, go into a new menu to upload your save (It only works for a single one IIRC), then go into the corresponding menu in GTAV Enhanced to download it. Why R* can't pluck your saves from their own cloud is a mystery to me, surely it can't be more difficult than implementing this ridiculous menu.

Quoting: GuestMight be the wrong place to ask, but I want to play Half Life Alyx as intended. Is there a VR system that works well with Linux that perhaps is a bit less than the $1k price tag of the Valve index?
Used HTC Vive off ebay.
You won't get the full finger tracking of the Index but apart from that it'll work.
