This arena is an undeniable tribute to Bioshock 2....
The developers took the tribute task so seriously that even the crash bugs from Bioshock 2 are present here :P

The Humble Artifex Mundi Bundle has all its Hidden Object games with full Linux support

Quoting: HomepcgamerIf Artifex had translated their games to Spanish, my wife had bought all of them long time ago. They translate to all world languages but spanish and portuguese... so sad.
Most Artifex games are traslated to spanish... If not on Steam, they are on Bigfish...
The bighfish games client runs fine via winE..

Some games that aren't in spanish on Steam, are in spanish on bigfish and viceversa...
You will have to compare manually.

The good thing about the Bigfish versions is that you can try them for free for an hour.

Steam Hardware Weekend sale, bag some cheap kit, Steam Controller now has accessories

Quoting: camocelticMy big gripe with the Steam Controller is that Valve made it so that it pretty much requires Steam to be running for it to work. There are workarounds [External Link], but I'm not sure how well they work, since I tend to just open Steam when I want to use my controller anyway.

As for "Is it useful outside of Steam", I find it to be an amazing Gamecube emulator controller, along with playing pretty much anything else where a controller is a great option. Been lately playing Shovel Knight from GOG by adding it to Steam and customizing the game-specific controller settings and it's working amazingly. If you don't want to add the game to Steam, you're going to have to set the desktop controller settings to the way you want it for Shovel Knight, which isn't a great idea if you have other things you want to use the controller for where that config doesn't work. Or use the workarounds to not use Steam at all.
I can confirm that the SC controller [External Link] works fine
I tried with a Bigfish game running via WIne using the Steam controller in wireless mode and it works OK...

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is officially coming to SteamOS & Linux, port by Feral Interactive
16 Sep 2016 at 3:45 pm UTC

Quoting: ShmerlI don't think Feral have much say in this matter, it's decided by the publisher. And while Square Enix aren't against Linux versions, when DRM is concerned they are still in the dark ages. Kind of ironic, that a game which explores power corruption and its effect on society in dystopian / cyberpunk settings, is plagued by the same disease.
Just like with Tomb Raider and Life is Strange, Feral IS the publisher of the Linux and Mac versions, so they can choose... and they choose DRM...

And the most irritating part is that, for Feral, Steam is not a DRM and never has been.

Quoting: boltronicsWolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood run great under Wine since it can pass through the bulk of the OpenGL calls directly. The performance of these games under GNU/Linux is amazing. Far better than many native GNU/Linux releases!

How do you run Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood under WINe?
