Hmm gameplay-wise it looks like it's Wesnoth with a few other design choices. Actual ranged attacks being one that appeals to me. Overall, though, it looks to be even more tedious.

Quoting: pbAre Chromebooks even available in Europe? Maybe in some of the western countries, but certainly not where I live.MediaMarkt NL has 15 chromebooks on their website, out of 313 laptops in total. But yeah, about as 'western' as you can get.

And without a plausible explanation on the huge upturn in the past (two) month(s), I'm gonna consider this a blip.

Quoting: SolitaryI don't think ChromeOS is much of a thing in Europe in general, I don't know anyone that bought one. Correct me if I am wrong.I know a handful of ChromeOS devices being used. But in general, you're right.

Wake me up when someone sells a Linux laptop with AMD hardware..
To be honest though, I'm not looking for a gaming laptop atm. Will probably upgrade my desktop this summer, but that's offtopic. A very portable thin 13" laptop with long battery life is more my cuppa. Let's wait and see what Raven Ridge is gonna bring.

Dreamcast is the one I dreamed of back in that day. Or actually way beyond that day, as it seemed to have a very decent assortment of games.
Too bad I was young and had no money.. But now I do, so I might as well buy this one.

I also help younger pupils (from age 12), but then subjects are more of a mixed bag. That part is also more about pedagogy than working with exam-level-pupils.

Quoting: razing32What field ?I'm a tutor for pupils at high school level. Sometimes one-on-one, sometimes in (relatively) small groups. My fields are physics and math. Sometimes chemistry, though for pupils at the IB level I have the luxury to pass that on to a more capable colleague.
You peaked my curiosity :)

Quoting: eldersnakeWhat a gorgeous and fun little game! It's not just the kid in me. The adult in me likes to unwind, and games that aren't about 'preventing the end of the world and the destruction of all that is good' are a welcome addition there. So this one's definitely on my radar.
Maybe it seems sad, but the kid in me is pretty delighted with this. Lol.
