Quoting: CorbenAt least it now has Vulkan support which should, in theory, allow the game to be ran via Wine Staging since that has Vulkan support now :)Quoting: ShmerlYep, I was referring to Ashes of Singularity. Their thread [External Link] has now 61 pages :O. Was it enough?Quoting: CorbenWhich other game wanted to have a +1 thread for Linux recently, to see the demand? How did that turn out?Other Side Entertaintment studio (developers of Underworld Ascendant) made a poll on their own site, but before making any promises. And after feedback, they included Linux in their crowdfunding goals. Recently, Oxide Games made one for Ashes of Singularity.

Quoting: GuestThis is probably for the best. Hyper Light Drifter, Switchcars and Nuclear Throne are examples of GameMaker games that never got their controller support for linux working properly. Feels that most GameMaker-made games are of a type that is best played with a controller. But I wonder how Broforce and Hotline Miami got it working?Controllers for those games got added in a sort of database of controllers and their configurations. This is why you would see issues with specific controllers that weren't in the games so-called database of controllers.

Quoting: Sir_DiealotI couldn't even get it to work properly in Wine when I tried about two years ago.Wine has improved a lot since two years ago :) For any GameMaker game you will need to run
winetricks d3dcompiler_43to avoid most crashes.

Quoting: buenaventuraI sure felt Sunless Sea was kinda grindy, especially when you died and started over, and visited the same places over and over. I am so happy to read this:The system requirements are out on both the GOG and Steam pages for the game :)
"I think what really helps, is that the pace of the game seems quite a lot faster when compared with the previous game, so it doesn't feel so gruelling to play."
The pace of the boat was quite enervating to me. This is one of the few games I am really looking forwards to, especially since my computer will probably run it well!
(I hope! Anything about system reqs revealed?)
