This game was pretty much a scam from the beginning. I love how they wasted backers' money for the first two-years before scrapping the whole thing and asking for even more money so they could rewrite the game from scratch. That kind of thing would never happen if a developer was held accountable, which is one reason why I despise the whole "crowdfunding" phenomenon.

Linux users account for less than 2% of our customers but over 50% of our bug reports...If they're legitimate bugs then what's the problem? Are they expecting Linux gamers to just suck it up and accept buggy software? I really don't understand the nature of his complaint.

Quoting: g000hWaiting for the day that Steam client for Linux is 64 bit..What benefit would Steam gain from being 64-bit? You can install and run 64-bit software through Steam, so what does it matter if Steam itself is 64-bit?

It had a rough start on Linux, but it runs great now. I've actually been really impressed with Dying Light on Linux, especially since it's rumored the port was handled by a couple of college interns.

Ah, so that's why they gave it away for free. They're hoping folks will spend the money to upgrade to the ultimate edition since "Gee, I already own the game, so..."
Clever marketing ploy.
Meanwhile, I'm saying, "Thanks for the free game!"

Quoting: razing32...is she fighting in high heels ?Female attire in video games rarely makes sense. I was playing Xenoblade Chronicles on my New 3DS, and I had to face-palm when the armor upgrade for a sensibly dressed woman was a bikini. Video game logic at its best.

I tend to wait for big Steam sales when the piddly cosmetic stuff is dirt cheap.

People complain about the Paradox DLC model, but they are, in fact, one of the most generous developers.

Quoting: Power-Metal-GamesOh, cool, the strawman fallacy.Quoting: Mountain Man$100 is way too low. Junk games and scammers can easily make back 10x that or more before their stuff gets flagged and pulled. I think $1000 would have been better.1000$... really? Why not 10K?? or even more? In fact, why allow anybody to publish something on the platform that only purpose is publishing something?
