Quoting: leillo1975I bought this title in a Bundle a year ago (sorry Feral), but I don't play with it in Windows yet. If I play this game the next week count like a linux buy?If a Linux option is not specifically selectable at the time of purchase then it will almost certainly be counted as a Windows purchase since Steam keys are platform specific. This is why you should always make your purchases through Steam for Linux or at the official site, assuming Linux can be selected as your platform of choice.

So I'll say it again, I couldn't be happier with the current state of Linux gaming.

Quoting: wojtek88Well, I did say the current state of Linux gaming. Of course there's room for improvement, and I hope the momentum continues until every developer supports Linux by default, but at this particular point in time, I really couldn't be happier with the current state of things. Sure, there are some gaps in my gaming library that I'd love to see filled, but that's a hell of an improvement from three-years ago (or a decade ago!) when the idea of a "Linux gaming library" was laughable. We're finally at the point where a hardcore gamer could use Linux exclusively and have more than enough games to keep him entertained for years.Quoting: Mountain ManHonestly, I couldn't be happier with the current state of Linux gaming.Impressive attitude, unfortunately I'm kind of the guy that always wants more. So there is always a way to become happier :).

Cities: Skylines Snowfall expansion announced, winter is coming

So the features say "a new winter themed map". Does this mean that the weather in the expansion will not be dynamic?
Door Kickers 2 strategy game announced, Linux support confirmed too

I like Door Kickers, but it sometimes feels more like a puzzle game than a strategy game. Too many times, it feels like you're trying to find the golden path through a level instead of using your creativity to overcome each challenge in a novel way.

Medieval II: Total War Collection released for Linux & SteamOS

Quoting: zimanoNot really. That's pretty common for older games that weren't designed for a wide range of resolutions. When Medieval II was release, 1024x768 was pretty much the standard. This is one game that has not aged well at all, the UI even at 4K resolution is massive and looks quite washed out because of stretchingIsn't this a good thing? Looking washed out isn't great but the fact that the UI scales/stretches at all needs applauded.

I've been quite happy with Empire. It's the first Total War game I've ever played, but everything I've read suggests that it's where the series peaked (either Empire or Shogun II, depending on who you ask).

Quoting: ArehandoroSame here.I haven't had much luck playing Steam games through Wine. I tried Lego Lord of the Rings and got some strange error that it couldn't access the graphics device.
I don't buy Windows games anymore but thanks to Wine I can play a good bunch of old games in my Steam library.

If I couldn't play Diablo 3 using Wine then I'd probably still have a Windows partition.
I still hope Blizzard will one day support Linux, but until then, Wine is an acceptable alternative, and the performance is actually pretty good.
