I really like the Avatar movies and was looking forward to this game (the only Far Cry game I've ever played was the original, and that was 20 years ago(!), so "Far Cry with blue people" is not an off-putting criticism), but when I started reading about the Ubisoft launcher requirement and heavy-handed DRM, I became considerably less enthusiastic

And now to find out that it doesn't even work in Linux anyway? Ugh...

Civilization VI has a native Linux version, but it runs like a pig. Running the Windows build with Proton gives substantially better performance.

I think the Linux version of Civ V runs acceptably, but it has been some time since I've played it, so I'm not certain.

The Humble Bundle just isn't as enticing as it used to be. They still claim "pay what you want" but then lock the best games behind the highest price threshold. I miss the days when it was literally "pay what you want".

Actually, he's a small independent developer who is mostly known for his modification of the Source Engine known as Garry's Mod.
