If the writing is in line with the original PS: Torment, the game itself will have a very serious (and superb) story. There will be sprinkles of humor in how the character and npcs interact from time to time.

Some clever people figured it out quite a while back. Spacious Skies is a lyric from America the Beautiful, which is based on a poem titled Pike's Peak (a track featured in the game). The type of drum in the picture shared its name with a system (navigation?) used in rally racing.

I do wish this was a wine wrapped port. You can install a glide wrapper and have a nicely accelerated 800x600 windows version of the game (I still have a working wine install of it).

If it fell through for linux I'd be crushed. It's about the only title that would have that effect on me.

While I agree, one potential downside is that people may make your old title so awesome everyone will want to play it and not your newly released shiny product.
