Yes, a working plugin also exists for Amazon Prime Video. Last I checked there wasn't anything for Hulu though. No idea about D+.

You have a valid point. I pre-ordered the rev 2 of the dock not long after it was announced back in early July. I just received it a couple of weeks ago and now there's a rev 3 being announced. The price is nearly doubling for every revision too, though the m2 slot is a nice touch. I have a 512gb high speed samsung sd card in mine and a 512gb m2 so I'm not overly worried about storage but this will be a nice option for some.

Also have 3 other much less expensive usb C docks from Amazon and they all work fine with the steam deck, so you can get by with a lot less if you want to come up with your own docking solution.

They should bump up to at least 4 3.1 usb ports in my opinion for what they're going to be charging. I have to use an external hub on my daughter's docked desktop steam deck because I don't want her mouse and keyboard taking up the only usb ports on the hub.

The Steamdeck is amazing and a steal at $400 (+ the cost of upgrading whatever inside it yourself, I got my 512 2230 for $52)

Why, well, because its array of inputs makes it even more awesome and versatile than the Steam Controller itself. Sure, I would very much prefer a SC 2.0, if they ever make one again.

I would be surprised if this doesn't happen. They can even get clever with it and allow additional game interaction through the steam deck touchscreen when it's being used as a controller.

I had a couple of their x86 mobile devices and they were actually a lot more powerful than the ARM processors they were competing against. Their problem was that everything was already written for ARM so there was an emulation layer translating the ARM software to run on the Intel chips which sucked away a ton of power and performance. If Intel had gotten in early enough and the software had been written for x86 to begin with we'd probably all be using x86 based phones now.

Seriously though, I don't think I've ever complained about a game not working on my distro. The only game I can even think of that I just couldn't get to work at all that a lot of other people didn't seem to be having problems with was Payday.

I have a feeling it's just pretty easy, at least for a while. I started a berserker last night and so far can just face tank everything.

Graphically this reminds me of Ignition from the mid 90s (great game). It would be fun if there were a level editor available and someone could recreate those tracks in this game.
