- New studio
- No history of previous Linux work
- Developement through Windows [External Link]
- Huge emphasis on dramatic trailers, visuals and art (ask me about "ARK syndrome"\)
- Equates platform "Windows" to "PC"
Unfortunately, boys, it looks like the chances of this releasing to Linux are extremely low.

I can't fault anything for being this way seeing as <90% of the games on Itch are flagged "in development".

Quoting: ShmerlOften, the character's selection box is offset. The same for mining equipment. And to get your ship, it should be in the ships tab of your "I" menu, look for "request ship". You then place it manually. After that, the rear door will open when you approach it. It sounds like you've been trying to enter the NPC ships.Spoiler, click me
Just got the game, and it's barely working. It says "press interact to talk". I'm pressing F. Nothing happens. No idea how to get into the ship even.
UPDATE: It suddenly reacted on F. Digitally generated voice is a cool option to save on voice acting :) Still no idea how to enter the spaceship.
UPDATE2: Apparently you need to buy a ship first, and I think I found it outside the hangar. But then the character got stuck, and I exited the game and started it back. The ship wasn't there anymore.
UPDATE3: The ship appeared back, but there is no apparent way to enter it. This game is seriously pre-alpha :)

Quoting: TheRiddickI hope Raven Ridge 2 will work in AM4+ motherboards also, and that they offer a 8core version running at 4.5ghz, NOW that would be awesome, it's what I will hold out for to replace my 1600 CPU with.Next generation of APUs is codenamed "Horned Owl" IIRC. They probably still won't have eight cores. The next immediate round of APUs would more likely be a refresh similar to Kaveri -> Godavari, same arch but revised manufacturing process and higher clocks w/ lower power.

Quoting: KelsMy first question with any first-person game is does it have adjustable FoV? Alternatively, is it set to 90 or above by default?Field of View is one of the first options. I think it is global, not just for first person mode.

Quoting: DanyMy first encounter with the term was with "Reticulating splines". Had no idea what it meant at the time.Spoiler, click me
Hi, Nanobang
We are glad you like the look.
On the other hand we did not want to keep you up at nights :).
The term "spline" refers to it's mathematical definition:
A continuous curve constructed so as to pass through a given set of points and have a certain number of continuous derivatives.
If anyone is interested the wiki article for this topic is pretty good https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spline_(mathematics) [External Link]
Here you can see a view from the Unreal Engine Editor. The white curve (with white points from time to time) is the spline we are referring to, the character, NPCs and the camera movement is based on this. The movement of the character and the NPC's is generally restricted to where the spline (the white curve) is.
We know this is not a widely used term outside of computer science/mathematics but as your comment proves, people will start to learn what a spline means :D.
