Quoting: IronJaegersomeone please make a MOBA with this engine to run on light configs. we need a lol/dota2 rival for low end devices in this mining craze where every piece of hardware is getting a pricetag bump , not only the GPUs
Start a git project. Even if you may not know how to build a game, getting the ball rolling could maybe attract those who do. Or some game design students or something. But then again, I have no idea what I'm talking about really.

Wow! HD2000 series? That's pretty old graphic card. It was on my wishlist along side GeForce 8 when I was teenager. Never got it. :(
The fastest cards from the HD 2000 series are going for like twenty dollars on ebay right now so you can easily fulfill that wish if you want.

Quoting: GustyGhostStrategic closedness. Unreal Engine are doing the same, I believe.

Maybe Godot will eat their lunch if they're not careful.
Do you think Godot is better or on par with Unity right now?
I have at most done only hobbyist size projects in either and it's been a while since I'd tried Unity so for whatever it's worth, if you're just cooking up simple 3D projects using one of the available scripting languages Unity and Godot are functionally identical (aside from that Godot groups everything as "nodes").

Quoting: razing32Hmm , I knew it had single player. Does it have a comparable multi player ? Then i stand corrected.
They have online co-op mode but nothing like GTA online.

Quoting: razing32Hmm gameplay seems to focus on the criminals.
Do they want to make this a cops versus robbers game or a free for all ?

I any case looks fun.

I love how the void gets filled on Linux. No Gta 5 but we have a cops and robbers game after all. (not the same thing i know , but in concept at least)
I consider the Saints Row series to be the closest commercial thing we have to GTA right now.

Grow and modify an ecosystem with simulated evolution in 'Ecosystem' now on Kickstarter

I've been looking for a good solution to set up a virtual "fish tank" with some of my old hardware. Achilles is not visually exciting while Species ALRE and 3DVCE were foolishly only made for windows. As long as Ecosystem isn't going to be locked into anything like Steam, it should be perfect!

DayZ is not currently coming to Linux, but the developers are open to it

DayZ has been around for what feels like forever. If they haven't ported by now, they probably never will.
