GOG really should just expose an API and leave client development to the rest of the world.

Mojang working on new launcher for Minecraft, Linux might not see support

They are in the early stages of deteriorating Linux support as with anything else MS-acquired (see: Skype...). This is planned and while they may not outright break Minecraft on Linux, they will slowly ensure it stays several steps behind and an becomes eventual pain to use. This is why I had taken up interest in Minetest [External Link] back when the sellout occurred and I encourage everyone else to give it a try.

Add ObscureOS No Users Edition [External Link] plz.

No, I jest... but where does the line get drawn? Should there be an option for the guys who do Linux from scratch? Maybe it would be better served to have a text box option if one can't find their distro on the list.

Rust has now sold over 30 thousand copies on Linux

Before we proclaim that Linux users earned Facepunch an extra 700K, let's remember that a huge proportion of those sales were probably at a discount. I would be willing to bet the true figure is several hundred thousand dollars lower. And that's not a Linux problem, PC gaming in general is huge on price cuts and seasonal sales.

That name couldn't be more appropriate. These games were before my time but I may have to give them a go.

Ballistic Overkill FPS updated, lots of changes and still works great

Quoting: ElectricPrismI held off buying this because of the Early Access after Storm United going dark :(
Same exact situation here. I really liked the idea of a "Halo" on Linux but nobody ever gets on Storm United. I think that because the FPS market is so oversaturated, bots have become necessary for multiplayer-only shooters to survive.

There are videos with Ben Lesnick reporting confidently that "Linux will be on or near Windows release" and I can't help but smirk knowing that without even a Linux demo build today, there is no way they will meet a day one launch.
Have a link to the vids of Ben ? There's that much regards SC it's hard to find anything specific.
We should see a Linux version "around launch". [External Link]
