Quoting: KimyrielleYeah, absolutely this. Monopolies are bad. But Linux users already know that! :D
Even if we have a healthy marketplace with competition between AMD/Nvidia or between Intel/AMD for CPU it's still only two. A duopoly! And don't point to VIA or Matrox, there are only two companies competing in either CPU and GPU which produce respectable, high performance parts worthy of desktop + gaming. Patents and licensing deals have removed freedom and choice from the x86 ecosystem and we're all worse off because of it.

Quoting: chrisqWhy are there so many articles about this unreleased game?
It looks truly medicore, I don't get why it is getting all this attention here.
That is how I felt about The Original Divine Sin or whatever it's called. There were so many articles posted about it that I eventually came to despise that game. It kept getting delayed I think, causing the excess of articles.

Looks like both Dead Island Definitive Edition and Dead Island Riptide Definitive Edition are coming to Linux & SteamOS

I see "View PC info" under your guys' avatars. It looks like that survey system is coming along nicely.

Or even Dawn of War 1 which IMO is the best in the series.

Quoting: noinformationhereI finally played the Talos Principle. It started slowly and I was a bit sceptical at first, but it eventually showed why it got so many rave reviews. Very very clever. It has been compared to Portal, but it has a unique way of looking at things. Puzzles can be challenging but always fair.
I really wish I could discuss Talos Principle without spoiling it for people as the story is based on one of my favorite concepts. Definitely a favorite of mine.

EDIT:
The Masquerade Bloodlines which was recently released on GOG
Shmerl, how do you get GOG games to launch on Debian? Do they need 32 bit libraries?

I feel the same way about Tomb Raider. That game is on hold for me until some patches come out. Until then, I'll be tolerating occasional graphical bugs in ARK.

Changes to our Survey are coming, hopefully to make it easier and better
8 May 2016 at 5:33 pm UTC

Even though I commend your switch away from Google forms, this will have a detrimental effect on total responses. In the past, a link to the survey could be shared on sites like Voat and Reddit. Will the new one have functionality for non-registered users?

Free to play MMORPG Ryzom launches on Steam with Linux support

Would you say role play is the only way to truly enjoy this game? If most of the experience is based on crafting and exploring for drops, what is there to get from Ryzom that you couldn't get out of, say, Minetest?

Also, Winch Gate sure know how to advertise hooooooooo boy!

Turns out Blitzkrieg 3 won't come to Linux as soon as I hoped

"Coming soon to GOG.com" Here's what's going to happen:

1. Blitzkrieg 3 releases for Windows on GOG
2. Blitzkrieg 3 gets ported to Linux
3. GOG never ever adds the Linux port to their store
