Quoting: WorMzybtw, did you guys have a similar issue for Tomb Raider? I wonder if the problem I was having with that game was the same thing.
No, I did not have this issue, TR was working straight away.

Quoting: WorMzyThat's the same size as my Deus Ex download, so looks like that might be the problem! I'll update my ticket with the information requested.
Yes, it tries to only download 8.7 GB. Tried Sweden, then London server.

Quoting: WorMzyUnfortunately it doesn't launch for me, instant segfault after the config screen. Doesn't work on either Arch or Ubuntu 16.04. It looks like the same problem I had with Tomb Raider. :(

I'll try contacting Feral support with my system report and crash dumps.
I have the same issue under Arch 64 and reported to them. Nvidia GTX970, driver 370. Tomb Raider and XCOM2 work fine though.
However, disk usage is only 16 GB. Cache validation is successful. Could it be a Steam issue?

Just finished to watch the stream. The game looks great and performs well. They have confirmed it uses OpenGL, but one of the most exciting announcements was that they would look at Vulkan implementation first half of next year!

Quoting: NezarnBut how? Denuvo didn't had Linux version so far :O (or in linux it will use a different DRM?)
It is possible that under Linux they are content with just the Steam DRM.

What Valve need to do - if they have the cash, and surely have - is to support financially the porting of games (especially AAA) to SteamOS/Linux for a release on day 1. It is the only way to get the traction.
Incidentally, their premature announcements that Batman and Witcher 3 would be available on SteamOS did not help and gave the feeling they broke their promises. Of course there were some successes this year, with titles like XCOM 2.
But if they want to enter the console market, they definitely need to get deals with editors and finance the porting, for instance via Aspyr or Feral.

Quoting: edddeduckferalJust got confirmation from the nice guys at Valve and we should have solved all your download issues if you had a package that didn't correctly update.
Thank you very much, it has downloaded completely. Now time to test it :)

Quoting: edddeduckferalThat version is a Windows bundle with many Windows only games, it appears to not have added Linux depots for TR 2013. We'll be contacting valve to ask them to have a look into it.
Me too! Acquired december 2013, but never had the time to play. When I learnt Feral was doing the port, I decided to wait for the Linux version anyway, so that my play enters the Linux statistics. That must be the explanation. The SteamID maybe is different. Thanks for contacting them.

I only have 16GB left. Could it be the reason? How big is it? By the way, the install dialog does not display the size before install, as it should do.
