Preview: Check out our footage from 'Resolutiion' - it's got some serious style

Going back and looking at Hyper Light Drifter and then to Resolutiion it all becomes a bit blurry on just how similar it is graphically speaking.
HLD was such a good game, they could essentially make HLD2 and that would be fine by me, as long as the the story and gameplay are great and can stand on their own. Bring on the "inspired by" games, if they aren't cheap clones.

I haven't played in a while, but this is a pretty amazing work of art & mathematics.

For anyone wanting to really understand hyperbolic geometry in an intuitive way, just going through the intro material is brilliant. Personally, I am not into rogue-likes, but this is worth just messing around in for the experience.

Thanks for the review. Looks like they handled the lighting really well within the pixel constraints.

Fifties even, depending just how you define "grew up with video games".

Interesting that Sundered and Jotun also have female protagonists. I really enjoyed Sundered, but still haven't gotten to Jotun.

I am very curious how this one turns out. The team there seem very good with the story elements of their games.

Quoting: GuestThis news brings me slightly hope for a Borderlands 3 Linux Version.
Wow. I hadn't thought of that.

While this Metro news is truly surprising and awesome, Borderlands 3 would be even better!

Stuck for a new game? Here's over 50 great games released for Linux in 2019

Quoting: ZlopezI usually have the opposite problem. I open up my library on Steam and I think "I don't know what to play first!" :-D
Yes, indeed.

Speaking of which - has anyone played OneShot on Linux? I bought it and then found that it required jumping through a whole bunch of extra hoops. Having had to fix too many broken games lately, I just left it alone for now. There are so many other games I have that work perfectly.

I think there should be some kind of "report game" button on Steam so that games that don't actually work out of the box on linux get a red linux icon or something, to warn buyers.
