This isn't a game, but for the Favorite Foss Project, would LSI (Linux Steam Integration) from the Solus devs count? I didn't see it as an option, but I'm not sure if that's something that goes on the database or not.

Very nice! :) I've been eager to play some more pirate sim games after getting my hands on Man O'War Corsair a while back. Been loving the heck out of that, so hopefully this will be just as good. :)

Wow. I really hope this comes with good support for Linux. :) The arsenal of weapons looks to be one of the coolest/most unique I've seen in a long time. The glove blaster things in particular look freaking amazing! =D

I agree with all your points. :) However, while the platforming can be quite frustrating, I find it extremely satisfying when you are able to successfully chain together the right moves to reach your goal. Also, I really like how there are multiple ways to approach the platforming. There's the "official" way, which will autosave at certain steps along the way, but there's also other paths you can take, which, while more challenging, can get you where you're going in fewer steps overall.

I'm not usually interested in grid based games, but this one actually looks pretty decent. :)
