The review sounds interesting but there is no way that I'm going to fork out almost 20 bucks for a game that provides only a few hours of gameplay. Maybe I'll pick it up on a sale.

Quoting: LarianWhat is the appeal of these truck driving games?
I can only speak for myself, but the main appeal for me is that it creates some kind of relaxing or soothing effect if I have to keep concentrated on driving the truck and avoiding the many small pitfalls (like avoiding tickets for speeding, not damaging the cargo, etc.) even if there is no real action in the game. At the same time, I can enjoy the scenery and see cities and landscapes of other European countries that I haven't seen before. And probably wouldn't even know where exactly they are if it wasn't for this game.

"The Stanley Parable" for only 2.39€. Unfortunately it crashed on me after the second startup, but after some Google searching, I edited a config file of the game named "video.txt" and put in the native resoltution of my monitor. Since then, it seems to run without problems.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 – Scandinavia. I was waiting for a sale because I found 17.99€ a bit overprized for an extension, but 8.99€ is a fair price. ETS is a great game. I'm already looking very forward to American Truck Simulator.

New Linux Gaming Survey For November

I found the question "Did you change your primary Linux gaming distribution" a bit ambiguous. Does upgrading to a new version of the same distro count as a change (e.g. Ubuntu 15.04 to Ubunto 15.10)?

I don't think that "Gattis smiled mischievously" is a good translation within this context, probably "Gattis smiled half-jokingly" is more accurate.
