I guess all the games are 600mb fatter (that's what wine bottles take for system files)

I was waiting for the these cards to hit the market, not because I intend to buy one (way too expensive) but because it means I will be finally be able to get a GTX 1080ti, which will serve me for another few good years. My last Nvidia card was a GTX 780ti, which is still a very good card (although a bit power hungry).
Prices for 1080ti already dropped significantly (at least on Ebay), and is a hell of a good card to have, with no current rivals.
I am also somewhat tempted to wait and see AMD's counter-offer, but who knows how long will that take.

At least you split your thoughts in sentences/paragraphs and use full stop after them. Don't need to go for perfection.

Quoting: Duke TakeshiI'm not a native English speaker myself, and is not hard to do it.Quoting: dubigrasuOff topic:Dude, I bet most of the people here are (like me) not even natives. And punctuation in English can be really weird sometimes. xD
I totally dislike to point this out, but FFS, some of you here could use a bit of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punctuation [External Link] It can't be that hard.
Just saying...

If Wine is one these intended "compatibility tools", I wonder what Valve will do/use to eliminate the anti-cheat software related issues that Wine users still have today with many games (otherwise perfectly playable).

But seasons 3/4 got me really excited, I very much agree that it felt less Star Trek at that point, but the action was really good and it kept me on the edge of the seat.
When I heard about the cancellation I was in disbelief, why then, when it started to kick ass?
Voyager, indeed, the prize for the most annoying Star Trek captain goes to....
Good thing we had the virtual doctor though. This scene always cracks me up:

DS9, sigh... all that religious and political crap annoyed me to no end, must confess that I was going fast forward through all that. As for characters, I think that Garak (the Cardassian tailor) was the most fascinating one. Oh, and Odo.
(all of the above are personal opinion and taste of course)

Quoting: razing32Interesting, I actually like the most seasons 3 and 4 in Enterprise, they got the ideas really flowing. I remember being almost bored by season 1 while season 2 was the most Trek-ish.Quoting: scaineEnterprise was good but season 3 killed it. The whole doom and gloom kills Star Trek. The whole message from TOS was technology will push us into a peaceful future.Quoting: Doc AngeloDid it? That's weird - I loved Enterprise, thought the characters were amongst the best I'd watched, was gutted when it was ended... but I don't remember much in the way of time travel being a core theme. Honestly, I don't remember too much of any Star Trek series... ever. They all kind of merge into one for me. Voyager was great. I remember not enjoying DS9, even though everyone I've ever met tells me it was the best one. TNG was awesome of course. And I'm enjoying, mostly, Discovery, albeit one character's acting is leaving me cold.Quoting: TheSHEEEPTime travel has always been a minor part of Star Trek, but never really played the main role - which is great, as time travel usually tends to make storylines ugly and messy.Time travel played a major role in Enterprise with Archer as Captain. Maybe that's why I never really got warm with it.
But more Star Trek? Yes, please!
I loved TNG because it was the first I saw.
Deep Space was ok , but i disliked some of the themes. It felt more political rather than exploring space and the new frontier.
Voyager was ok but I disliked their captain. They tried to make her a strong leader but she always played too soft for me. Wanted to see more of her teeth. Loved the Klingon girl and Seven-of-Nine.
Have not seen Discovery yet.
