Europa Universalis IV: Conquest of Paradise Expansion Released For Linux
15 Jan 2014 at 4:43 pm UTC

Whatever EUIV is, it is definitely not simple. In EUIII I was able to conquer half of the world as a minor European nation if I kept good balance between warring and diplomacy. Now in EUIV I am unable to conquer a single province even as Bohemia. On the other hand, large nations are even more overpowered than they were before. I guess it is more historically accurate, but I prefer EUIII - even if I have to reboot to Windows to play :(

Quoting: SuperuserI guess I should just stick to being a non-programmer. :(
I started tinkering with the Quake III engine as a non-programmer, because I didn't want a great game like Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory to die. Now, two years later, I am still working on my project called ET: Legacy and although I cannot call myself a real programmer, it feels good to understand parts of code which were incomprehensible to me before.

The assets will be easily decompilable and everything that can be will be editable for modders. I'll also release all my tools and scripts.
They will still be copyrighted though so not really public domain no. I wont rule that out for the future though.

Pledged. I always wanted to make a game simulator of a space colony... in the universe of Aliens (the movie). This may not be exactly it, but at least it's inspired by the films. Hopefully, they will make it fully moddable.
