Quoting: Purple Library GuyI can vaguely imagine what Volkswagen might use Blender for, but I do wonder.

Inspired by Factorio and RimWorld, space colony building sim Stardeus out in Early Access

Looks very interesting, but I tend to stay away from Early Access games.

Edit: I've played the demo now and it seems quite fun. But it still feels a bit unpolished (it's still EA after all)

Quoting: PhiladelphusWell, this seems neat, bio-modding colonists and all that—

  • Actually useful shelves that store lots of stuff.
😳

10/10, must-buy expansion!

Hmm the update isn't being applied for me. The deck restarts, but after starting up it still shows the update.

Edit: nvm, it is applied (it shows achievements and guides). But it still shows the update.

Edit2: apparently the deck only applies the steam portion of the update, not the steamos part

Quoting: Lonsforalso all the people moving to minetest because you cant say the nword you will all be the reason similar tools will be made for minetest.
What a strawman. As if people move to different games just to write out the nword.

Also no one claimed that people writing hateful stuff in chats doesn't happen. You're trying to derail the discussion here.

The Valve Steam Deck, lots of excitement and plenty to think about for Linux gaming

It has better specs than my ol' rust bucket here.
I'll try to use it as a normal Desktop PC that I can take along with me. If that doesn't work out well I now have a handheld gaming PC, so that's a win-win for me.

For some inexplicable reason it's not available from GOG right now
