In saying that, some GOG games now have DRM components for their Multiplayer or online features, so those who loved sniffing their own farts will have to think twice about buying games on GOG also :)

Quoting: Shmerlreleasing on GOG unfortunately. Some games can't come to GOG due to lack of DRM, have you seen what happens to multiplayer games when there is no drm and anyone can grab a copy and just play online? death is what!

Its a C++ Intermediate language conversion thingo or something.
Anyway once this comes out I might play around with it a bit and test out vulkan support, see why so many developers ignore vulkan when using Unity3d.

The Linux VRR thing never worked very well for me, always ended up causing flickering and blank screens on my freesync monitor, despite working perfectly under windows10....

Feral ports have generally worked better then steamplay stuff, performance wise etc so hopefully they keep doing them. I know there will still be those who refuse to support feral, only accepting from developer native releases, but that is the way some of the Linux community is sadly.

Valve should really fix their adding non-steam game system, it creates broken links and also when you update the shortcut info it will generate another gameID folder, kinda crazy bug.

I thought they had a full wood finish one coming? guess that was too expensive to do.
I do hope this console does well, would really love to see Atari make a comeback, thought I doubt this is going to be the killer app that does it for them.
EDIT: Apparently it will have a wood finish, interesting, wonder how that will be done.

I think you can use a HDMI to Displayport dongle? A DP would have been nice but I can understand them wanting to save a couple dollars per console to not have one in.

As this project moves forward I'd love to see a in-game popup gui to configure things, that be pretty neat. Nothing too serious thought, reshade's GUI kinda gets crazy at times.
