If you have a problem its best to contribute in the appropriate github issue # if it exists, otherwise start a new issue.

I suggest you try testing with lutris directly first (if you prefer a easy to use gui method). Proton itself does other things which can compound or introduce problems.

Basically EPIC had some discounts which some publishers had issue with, some of the games were not even released yet also so it doesn't sound like a HUGE issue on epics side.

Not like %30 of their game-store pulled out of the sale, just a few titles here and there. It was the late timing which caused a stir.

Until EPIC store supports Linux I won't ever touch it, and even then we will need a way to plug in proton to it. Launch game via launcher (proton) and ability to download windows versions are rather simple features to implement...
EPIC have all this money yet they seem to spend very little on the store front software/technology itself... why do big companies keep making this same mistake over and over?

SteamOS had another beta update recently, new Steam Play Proton version 4.2-4 is out

excellent,

I look forward to the day I can play ARMA3 multiplayer (almost all servers are battleye)

Easy Anti-Cheat are apparently "pausing" their Linux support, which could be a big problem (updated)

Somehow loads of cheaters still seem to bypass these 'anti-cheat' systems. They seem to be questionable worth, probably better if Steam can make something that integrates into the games exe and can't be easily hacked (since it would detect memory injections). Hmmm.. sad.

Certainly feels like there is a cold war going on against Linux atm... And companies are trying to make games into a services where nobody owns anything and they can pull the cord at anytime, even kill software from existence... concerning.

Black Mesa looks pretty incredible in the latest teasers, new roadmap shown

valve should really make the source engines open-source!

Planet Nomads has left Early Access and feels like a big missed opportunity

Yeah I got in via gog long ago, when multiplayer was firmly said to be in, then they back flipped on that and said it was going to be a great single player experience... and here we are with a lemon.... Feels like starforge all over again... this dev will NEVER get my support again until a super awesome finished product is 1.0+++ and every single review praises it....

NMS is pretty good these days, and has continued support, and also has mod support (has several hubs).
YES THERE ARE MODS TO MAKE PLANETS AND LIFE MORE INTERESTING.. NM is a single planet, and a waste of time atm.

No need to bottle it all up as Wine 4.7 is out with an updated Mono engine and more
