I'll come back to linux with kernel 6.14 (ntsync) and NV drivers v570. Lets hope that isn't too long.

I've been playing a fair bit of stalker-2 and noticed I was getting as much as 40fps less under Linux and it was quite noticeable. Probably compounded by Frame-Gen, still, ntsync and the new drivers should help a fair bit, I hope.

Yeah loosing access to CUDA is a big kick in the balls for many people using NVIDIA cards that might prefer to go mostly-open-source driver route.

Be nice if the developer could work on a steam prefix to resolve these minor issues.

Like it detects steam deck usage and applies tweaks to config and UI etc...

I feel this game is going to fall off as they key bending to Nintendo's will by removing core basic gameplay mechanics. I don't care if there is a mod to fix it, the BASE game appears to be getting stripped.

The Witcher IV revealed with Ciri as the protagonist

Was kind of hoping for a :pick female/make :pick school :pick appearance. Witcher game. Ell well, not that I don't like Ciri, its just I was hoping for like a fresh game, maybe even good old witcher day prequel would be nice.

By the time Ciri is in her adulthood years, I doubt there is more then a handful of actual witchers left in the world.

Has protonGE added frame gen yet? I remember it being quite far behind even Valve for a period.
