Pretty excited for this one. Got the ultimate version (got on discount) sitting in my steam account waiting.

I did enjoy Stalker Anomaly and mods. Might reboot up a new game sometime soon.

Apparently is FULL of cheaters/hackers.

Also it has a coin shop which I'd hope is only cosmetics but wouldn't be surprised if there is a pay2win element. Either way cheaters ruin games such as this where everyone expects to be playing on a more or less level playing field, but ultimately aren't due to ineffective anti-cheating methods.

Wouldn't be surprised if they implement kernel level DRM (blocking Linux) in hopes to stop cheating (it won't).

The only way to stop cheating is custom design anti-cheat into their OWN server and client code, relying on generic third party tools only cuts out the MOST laziest of cheaters!

Quoting: Root-CoreAs this is a Unity game, you could test
I'll test this out sometime. However I'd like a fix for the stupid cursor rendering issues. Run normally outside of gamescope it's low res 8bit cursor, and in Gamescope it only renders part of the cursor... such a silly issue.

Additionally these sorts of workarounds should just NOT be needed. A typical gamer/desktop user will never be able to find these fringe workaround fixes.

As good as proton/wine is, it's these fringe oddities that persist that really hurt it.

I was messing with rogue trader recently and noticed the mouse cursor is in 8-bit color or worse (looks bad compared to windows) and it had quite a bit of micro stuttering going on. Was not smooth when panning camera.

Tried a few things, couldn't fix those two issues.
I did manage to fix the unitymodmanager unifont problem, but if the game is infinitely more enjoyable to play under Windows as it doesn't stutter and the cursor looks normal, then I'll have to do that.

" I have to go find a job flipping burgers or something. "

Sorry that job has already been taken by AI. What we do have is a job where rich folk need someone to live in their toilet to wipe their asses! Requires a degree!

This is what Valve should have done while ago.

No doubt this will restrict it to playable framerates on NVIDIA cards only.

If your going to put this much work into the body realism, perhaps also just toss in VR support for people also?

Outward has 2player coop, one of the better challenging rpg games. Wonder if there is a 4player mod.
