Last I checked, D4 won't be free. So there is a monetary incentive to ban peoples accounts for ANY reason what so ever!

Don't be surprised if Blizzard starts banning Linux/SD users...
They really don't like any work arounds what so ever with their games.
They'll of cause probably wait until final release to start pissing people off with bans.
I won't ever buy another Blizzard game after experiencing this terrible customer service myself with Diablo-3. Why pay for a game when they can just stop your copy from working whenever they want.
FYI, I was banned because I changed my language files of game which apparently your not allowed to do. No functionality to change language. lmao
Also why is a mostly single player game always online?

Still can't buy them off Steam in AU/NZ. So we won't be able to take advantage of the %10 off.
There are some online retailers here selling them but the markup is too much IMO.
It is a very odd thing how AU and NZ don't get the steam deck (direct from Valve) but it is what it is.
I'll probably just skip it this gen.
Was interested closer to launch but now I have other things on my mind.

No true next-gen Steam Deck for 'a few years' Valve say

Are they saying there will be a Steam Deck 1.5 in between? I think there is room with 7000 series AMD APU's if they can get AMD to supply a RDNA3 one... but perhaps it be better to wait for RDNA4 ones?

The $1000 worth of DLC for the original put me off even trying it out.
Steam Deck OS 3.4.6 Beta adds DOOM Eternal Ray Tracing, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty fixes

Well its good to have it for testing and optimization purposes and maybe with FSR3.0 magic can be done.
But obviously in this current state it wouldn't make sense in most cases to use ray tracing.
Also I don't think RT is really that useful in games that have you whizzing through the levels at lighting speed. Would be great for slower play style games.

Valve doesn't need much to make a Steam Deck 2 a huge success

Given that other more expensive handhelds with a 6800U in them were doing similar performance at 1080p as SD and about 50% faster at 800p setting.
I think there is room to produce a SD2 at this stage given AMD has new generation APU's in house already which no doubt Valve has access too.
I would like to see Value attempt to use a 6c/12t CPU this time around, at least as the minimal.
Also I'd like to see them use several of those SOLID STATE COOLER CHIPS that company developed (forgot name now)
It would be a huge step ahead if they designed the battery(s) in positions where they can be interchangeable, just takes a bit of plastic mold like SOME mobile phones with back panels that pop off....

The one thing that made NMS a bit weird for me was that no Cities or Civilizations exist in the game (lots of talk about them). Like only small ruins left over.
It be cool if the game had cities/towns with large populations in them instead of copy-pasted space/land station habitants.
For there to be ANY people, there must be a population of people 'doing things' or the species just dies through attrition! (think about how many you kill in space combat!)

Hmmm, I wonder how many of those cheaters just instantly made a new account and started again. You can get to the top pretty fast when cheating after-all.

Is Zink doing performance fixing on a per Game basis? if so it may take them a few hundred years to catch up. lol
