Atari VCS seeing supply shortages, not expecting full production until early 2021

What I'd like to see is games being distributed on USB3.0 pens, but with the hacking and bricking PC issue involved with those, maybe that isn't such a good idea either.

Quoting: slaapliedjedeath to physical media, I guess...Well its still a option, but with so many games now needing updates and dlc, its a expensive addition. My PC does not have a bluray dive, I have a external one that never gets used.

Game runs on OpenGL4.0-4.3 it seems, I've seen allot of games on older versions of OGL that have had odd issues similar to this. Is odd.

I'll probably get a 6800XT even tho I want to see pretty lights in CP2077 and won't be able to on release, I do know that eventually they will be supported with AMD cards.
I did try to buy a 3080 on launch but no stop exists anywhere except for for %200 marked up models...

Quoting: jarhead_hThe 850 should handle the power draw of the 6900XT just fineWhy do people think they need a 850W PSU for a 300W card? I've always been confused by this thinking. Is your CPU drawing 500W?
Quoting: KristianThe last time I had a ATI card(as they were called back then) it resulted in a "hardware manufacture error". Being boycotting them ever since. If I had this policy, I would actually not being using computers right now because all brands have burnt me at some point. (basically bought all cpu/gpu and brands over the decades at one point or another).

The ARK devs are a odd bunch. Seemingly extremely lazy to not implement Vulkan after many years of saying they would, and other fixes, but at the same time release DLC and other games...
Microsoft Edge now available on Linux in Preview

Seems like there is a pretty big incentive for Microsoft to eventually adopt a Linux Kernel backend to their windows platform, and that is open-source and the fact you'd end up with free bug reporting and fixing from the community whereas atm MS has to front up allot of money still to build their windows platform and keep it working, by themselves.
I doubt this will happen anytime soon however, it's more likely we will see a Linux Distro spin from Microsoft where it slowly gets native DLL support and other things until one day it just works like windows10.

Quoting: rustybroomhandlePart of a process by Microsoft to shift some of their stuff to be based on open source projects. A cost cutting measure that some suspect may eventually extend to their operating system, another source of money-bleed.Hmm, and people think its impossible for MS to port Windows over to Linux.
