The Humble Devolver Bundle has a few decent Linux games for cheap

Well, I already have Shadow Warrior and Talos Principle and the others don't interest me.
Shadow Warrior is an absolutely incredible game. Anyone who hasn't played it, needs to. For a violent, ridiculous, and over the top throwback to the classics, the story and characters are some of the best I've seen in a game. Not as well executed as, say, Half Life 2, but just as compelling as the Metro games, in my opinion. The ending gives you the same feeling of having done a great deal, and yet accomplished nothing. The sequel is the only new game that I've been looking forward to. I'm so tired of seeing articles with the strategy tag.

Imagine if the survey came up as often as Steam Guard. I get that every few weeks. Change browser, delete cookies, reinstall Steam: Who are you! Identify yourself!

Just reading through that Q&A you linked, it does look like it is coming. If this really is a good Harvest Moon type game, I may have to get it. Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town was a large part of my childhood. It also looks like marriage in the game is gender neutral, so +1 for that.

I've been playing this myself. It could use a little polish, but it really is excellent. The gameplay is hilarious, grabbing dropped weapons and even severed heads is amazing. The controls are limited to four buttons that work very well on my Steam Controller's touchpad.

Quoting: adolsonWhy do people bash a game because it's a genre they don't like? Not interested? DON'T BUY IT! Simple as that.
If you are by chance talking about me, I wasn't trying to bash it. It looks like a great game, and I'm glad it was ported. I just have the worst feeling that the new Hitman game will not be, which feels like a sick joke. I should note that I have been playing a lot of Dirt Showdown, which disappointed me greatly, as I have been wanting to play the Dirt games for some time, and all I get is this. Also, releasing a game in a well-known franchise that completely eschews the traditional elements of said franchise, reminds me of Metroid Prime: Federation Force. That game made me sick to my stomach. Not because it was a bad game, but because we never got a real Metroid game to justify it.

Quoting: NyamiouWe are still the ones spending the most on HiB even tough we have a lot more options to find Linux games out there :

Average Windows:
$5.63
Average Mac:
$7.07
Average Linux:
$8.28

And also we represent way more than 1% of the sales.
I know, right? The Linux percentage was almost equal to Mac. Which means they could very well be making more money off of Linux sales vs Mac, which I find amusing.

I picked it up just for Trine 3 and Never Alone. I might play Retro City Rampage. I couldn't care less about the others. Still a very good deal.

Quoting: wolfyrionJeez!!! Not another turn based strategy game!!! :dizzy:
What is going on with all the developers these days, everyone has to create a boring turn based strategy game! Why???

I need adrenaline , I need to test my reflexes, I need pure awesome action - I cant wait for turns .... :'(
Quoting: GuestI’m also very sick of all these turn-based strategy games.
I thought I was being irrational when I saw the title and became angry. It seems that I'm not the only one tired of getting the weakest entry in a franchise. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the game is good. It just isn't exactly a Hitman game. I don't understand why developers port games like this first.

Great review, thanks. I am very reluctant to buy another game with no replay value. I have a couple of those in my library, just sitting there collecting dust. I'm hoping It will be more like Portal 2, which remains entertaining, and not Limbo, which was awesome for the hour or so I played it. While I picked Limbo up for next to nothing in a Humble Bundle, it really isn't worth the full price.
