With violent and "complex" 2D brawler-like combat Infected Shelter looks good and it's coming to Linux

I, uh, I might have to get this one. It's so over the top that I picture myself screaming and laughing into my friends' head phones.

Quoting: EikeAh. Yeah, we don't have that. That would be kinda nice, especially for things that get higher up in price like $60, $200, $500, etc.Quoting: 14Are you used to seeing a final price before you put stuff in your cart? In the U.S., tax gets added to Steam purchases during checkout. Actually, sales tax gets added to a lot of online retailers now. It became law in my State not that long ago if I remember correctly. At least in Germany, it's law that consumers have to be shown full price including VAT from the beginning (online as offline). (And that online retailers have to pay them, too, which seems obvious to me). The tax part of the price is shown explicitly in the end on Steam.
Valve just released a big Steam Play update with Proton now based on Wine 4.2 & more

I dread updating Proton because I'm afraid that it will make me download DoS II again. I have a backup, but it takes a lot of time to extract... can always start the process and walk away I guess. Just annoying. We'll see!
No Man's Sky runs very nicely on Linux with Steam Play, huge online feature update and VR support coming

I'm glad this was posted because my Windows gaming buddy just talked about No Man's Sky a couple of days ago and mentioned how much it has changed, and that it was fun now. He also said that there was decent cooperative play as well. That made me think, "Huh, I wonder if that runs in Wine or Proton... probably not." And I never checked. It's nice to hear that it does indeed work in Proton. I am still preferring GoG + Wine for the very few Windows titles I play, but it's nice to know there's an easy Steam option.
Will I pick it up? Well, probably not soon. My buddy and I are already trying to complete Dungeons 3 and Torchlight II before we get Division 2 on PS4. After that, perhaps.

I never played the Doom games. I did play a tiny bit of the really old Wolfenstein on my uncle's computer when I was a kid. Not sure if I'll get it since I'm mostly into story-based games these days, but the quick movement and action do look fun.

Quoting: tuubiNote that if you're in the EU at least, $2 is the price without VAT. Due to the way Itch.io and some other smaller stores deal with the whole EU VAT MOSS process, there doesn't seem to be a way to see the final price until a couple of steps into the checkout process. I'd be so much happier if I could just set my country in the preferences and see prices with tax in Itch.io listings and game pages. Are you used to seeing a final price before you put stuff in your cart? I paid 2.48€ in the end.

Wait, it can activate my discrete GPU? Ooo, I need to try launching KotoR on the laptop this way!
EDIT: Well, I didn't do much of a real test, but KotoR *felt* smoother and a tad prettier. Also, my laptop fans were not as loud. Yay!
