Two Point Hospital confirmed to be releasing for Linux next month

I'm not very much into sim games. I only need to play one every couple of years to satisfy my itch, even though I really liked Theme Hospital and Sim City 2000 when I was a kid. This Two Point Hospital trailer is pretty convincing that the itch is back. :)

It just seems like Rust to me. Why would I get it?

Albion Online turns one, it's getting a 'massive overhaul' of open-world PvE which sounds good

I'd be willing to give it another shot come Winter, when I am willing to play MMO's.

Quoting: razing32Seems interesting , but after getting burned with Towns and Gnomoria I am a bit skeptical.
Still Prison Architect, Rimworld and Rise to Ruins are turning out pretty well , so maybe this will fall in that category.
I just kind of understood that Dwarf Fortress cannot be matched.
But is Dwarf Fortress really learn-able?

Quoting: 14Even if I don't immediately act on information like this, it's nice to search for it on this website, like now. I want to buy a second copy of Stardew, this time without annoying Steam DRM, but I wasn't sure if GOG had the multiplayer beta version. Time to buy it now!
If you try to launch steam version of stardew valley outside steam it will give you an error message about it failing to initialize the steam api, but it will still launch and work perfectly, so I wouldn't call it DRM. You will still need steam for initial download and updates though.
Interesting. I guess I never try that.

I got tired of logging into a Steam account on my kids' computers every now and then because Steam decides not to remember the password very long for some reason. I should have tried closing and launching again, since that works when my computer pretends to forget my Steam password. But then I'd have to teach my kids to do that in case I'm gone. Anyway, your tip most likely would have solved my problem. I don't mind buying a second copy since it will someday be used simultaneously with my own copy.

Quoting: 14I felt the BioShock vibe while watching the trailer, too. And, no, I didn't read your comment about BioShock until after I watched the trailer. I think I want this game. I saw the word "adventure" and I almost surfed away. The theme made me watch the trailer. And now it looks pretty interesting -- kinda dark but hopefully not sick, tiny comic humor, action, modern premise.
The game takes place in an alternate 1960's.
Sure, but the rest of the premise still feels like current entertainment themes, both written and visual. The Matrix, Equilibrium, Deus Ex, BioShock, City of Ember, The Hunger Games, The Giver all have kind of a dystopian theme where one or a few people decide to either escape or fight to make it better / try to open people's eyes. That's what I meant by modern premise. Maybe I didn't use the right word, but I didn't mean modern times.
