I felt the BioShock vibe while watching the trailer, too. And, no, I didn't read your comment about BioShock until after I watched the trailer. I think I want this game. I saw the word "adventure" and I almost surfed away. The theme made me watch the trailer. And now it looks pretty interesting -- kinda dark but hopefully not sick, tiny comic humor, action, modern premise.

I think I'm more interested in Battletech than this, but we'll see what reviews say.

I only played one of the Commandos games way back in the Windows 95/98 days. I'd be very interested to get a new one!

My guess is [play time]:[spend amount] ratio is not a constant amongst various people. In my own narrow sampling of friends, I have seen both sides. I've seen people that have just a couple games that they play the hell out of and I've seen people often buy games but only play a little. When I get into an EVE Online kick, I will play that game like an addict for months. It's like no other games exist. I play a lot, but I don't buy anything from Steam during that time (I subscribe outside of Steam even though the game is in my Steam library).
SteamOS has a minor update to test the waters before a bigger update

This is also why Macs are poor gaming machines. They look cool but they can't keep a good GPU cool.
Sounds to me like:
Want a small box for your SteamOS machine? Put an APU in it and live with its performance.
Want faster hardware? Make a mid tower and live with the size.
Other options are simply not worth the cost IMO.

The Debian mailing list announced [External Link] that Jessie is end of life and will no longer receive even security updates as of June. If I was maintaining a fork that still relied fairly heavily on Jessie, I would work to get it converted to Stretch ASAP.

Quoting: ShmerlIt's good to see an RPG project crowdfunding succeeding, unlike one for Project Resurgence [External Link] which was promising too, but failed financially.Yes. Divinity: Original Sin 2 (and I think 1 as well?) were successful. Hopefully this game and Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness and Last Epoch turn out well also.
Quoting: Mountain ManYou know, studios could be a lot more creative with their advertising art for fantasy RPGs since every one seems to use a variation of the exact same image. It gets to the point where I will often overlook a new game simply because the "box art" looks so familiar that I assume I've already seen it before.I agree with you. I had to keep looking at this one and ask myself, "Is that really not Pillars of Eternity?"
For that matter, the in-game art isn't much more distinctive.

Quoting: skinnyrafHa. My dual-boot setup is similar. I have Steam and Origin installed in Windows and nothing else. I only boot to it about once a month or longer. Windows and Linux have their own drives and the only way I can boot to Windows is pressing a key during boot to get to BIOS boot selection menu. :)Quoting: 14I am not going to check my bank account, read/write emails, apply to jobs, VPN to work, write scripts, manage family photo library, etc. on a gaming console. In short, I don't use gaming consoles to work with my more intimate data, thus complete control over the platform is not as important to me.That's why I separated my dual-boot Linux and Windows installations quite extremely: one is on GPT and the other uses MBR and I'm using BIOS-level selection of a boot device to boot into Windows rather than GRUB :) My Windows install is basically a Windows gaming console - no other software installed apart from games, Steam, Battle.net and Origin (The Sims 4 and Plants vs Zombies 2...).
On the other hand, my Linux installation is pure workstation. My Linux gaming happens on a Steam Machine.
