Crusader Kings 3 adds plagues, a legitimacy system and male pattern baldness

Male pattern baldness... it's almost a bold move to say words like that these days. :woot:

Plasma 6 lands in Arch Linux, KDE neon teething issues and Plasma 6.1 heating up

This is sarcastic, right? You don't get anything from a donation. It's not a trade.

KDE has said in multiple places that they were changing the click defaults.

I haven't upgraded my main system yet, but testing the upgrade in a VM went fairly well. I've been kind of excited for Plasma 6.

All older games being sold in Germany on Steam now require a content rating

Quoting: kerossinI don't think the ratings are a big problem but people who can't understand what they're buying without an ESRB or similar logo are just plain stupid.
It's not stupid to have the ability to filter movie and game libraries by rating so you don't have to review every single request your child makes. Are you stupid since you didn't think of that?

It's easy to use that word but not as easy to hear it.

... but it's easier to improve software! ;)
Oh, yes. With software, there are only so many debatable opinions of direction to choose, whereas with humans, we can't even agree on what improve actually means.

PC and handheld gaming with Linux levels up with Bazzite v2.3.0

...next generation of Linux Gaming equates to a more console-like experience? I am not saying it's a bad thing, but it also doesn't add something new. OK, you can pick or build your own hardware. That's a big difference -- a difference that brings the double-edged sword of user choice versus smooth and tested experience.

Really cool project. Maybe I take people's choice of words too seriously... or maybe they don't take them seriously enough.

Nintendo goes after Switch emulator yuzu in new lawsuit

Ah, you mean you don't want their systems or games to exist anymore? Yeah, that would be one solution. I bet everyone would be pleased! /s

I wonder if the same people that feel righteous in saying artists deserve pay for their work also turn around and pirate games they've never paid for.

Want to play a game you paid for on a different device it was made for? I can see that argument. Want to buy a game that the publisher won't sell to your region? I can see that argument, too. Want to be a cheap ass and steal things you're unwilling to pay for? I have no respect.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I think Nintendo's request to take ownership of yuzu is absurd. Reminds me when Yamaha took over a forum for a really stupid naming reason, and then they shut it down like pricks.

I've tried Wayland on my main tower a couple of times, and decided I'd use X11 until Plasma 6. Well, it's about to happen. Time to finish my backups and jump off the upgrade cliff!

Hmm, I don't think I'm opposed to the idea, however it doesn't affect me. If it did affect me, I'd want to be able to say I'm adult ONE TIME and be done with it. But I would still like to see the age range devs / Steam estimates on each game.

I use tag filters now, and they work decently, but since they're crowd sourced, they can be overgeneralized, and games you didn't intend to be filtered, are.

Oh well. People and software will never be perfect.

Economy must not be that bad if we can continue spending more on entertainment.

Granted, I don't know if Steam is stealing revenue from other outlets or if the gamer market is truly more lucrative.
