Ubisoft games head to Stadia starting with The Division 2, The Crew 2 and Monopoly

TBH, I usually like Ubisoft games a lot with a caveat. I will not play their multiplayer PC games. If I'm getting one of their games for the multiplayer aspect, I get it on PS4. I was burned too many times troubleshooting networking issues etc. Stadia? Well, I'm curious. Too bad I already have Division 2 on PS4 though.

ESO... I think that is a pay-once game that I already own (maybe went F2P at one point), so I'd only try it on Stadia if I couldn't get it running on my computer.

If Cyberpunk 2077 comes to Stadia and it doesn't work on my computer via some means, I would definitely consider giving Stadia a shot instead of defaulting to the PS4 version. The Witcher 3 had the same graphics on PC and PS4, but I am suspecting that won't be the case with Cyberpunk, so I'd rather experience the PC version.

Just reporting back to say that Dead Space 3 installed and ran fine via the Lutris config. Pretty cool how much stuff works in Linux these days! I thought I said goodbye forever to my Origin games.

Quoting: Linas
Quoting: F.UltraAny one having any idea how to go about installing Origin in steam? Are one to install it as an external 3d party game and then just launch it and proton will then run on all games installed via Origin or must the game be one of the steam games that comes with Origin?
You don't need Steam at all for this. You could try Lutris which has an installer for Dead Space 3 [External Link].

Although to be honest, with all of the games to choose from, I wouldn't bother spending my money on Origin on a game that may or may not work.
In my case, it's a game I already own from long ago, so I might as well give the Lutris method a shot.

Quoting: ShmerlI stick to lgogdownloader, since now it also supports incremental updates for Linux versions using pseudo Galaxy method (through zip offsets hack) quite well.
I was using this for a while and made my own script around it until it stopped building via the AUR. I spent some time trying to get it to work until I decided I had had enough.

I just started using it a few days ago and it's just about everything I want. An option for automatic updates would be nice (there are some games I wouldn't want to auto update), but other than that, I hope it doesn't get too complicated.

I did not expect the Origin launcher to work via Steam. Wow. The timing is great since I just mentioned to a friend last week how it would be fun to play the Dead Space games somehow. I wonder if I can now.

I'm not into really simple games, but I may actually get this if the price is low enough for old times' sake.
