If they manage to solve the issues, even if turns out to be a not so great game, I might give it a go just for the uniqueness of the game actually.

Perhaps Steam should remove the tier based charges in favour of service charges. Charges for using steam analytics, algorithms, the network stack, etc. They could assure more devs in their platform willing to not use certain perks and get the extra penny.

Quoting: GuestI finally broke down and bought an old game to run with AdamHM's wrappers. Tried MOHAA, a game I played quite a bit BITD when I used Windows. Anyway, seems to work great so far! Thanks for the wrapper.

One question; can anyone describe to me how to make the UI text larger. I'm running a 32" 4K monitor, and I can just barely make out the text. About double the size would be great. Don't care if it's pixelated, as long as I can actually read it.
I guess it depends on what desk you're using but on Gnome you can change the font size under tweak settings or in xfce under appeareance in the font tab settings. Can't remember now if you could also change there the DPI in Gnome, in xfce you can, and whether that could improve the experience.

Hope that helps :)

Quoting: GuestOnly unknown games in the whitelist, that’s disappointing.
castlevania is famous, but castlevania 3D sucks, the 2D ones are the good ones, castlevania 3D is an generic hack n slash, castlevania 2D is an great platform that helped define an genre.
Castlevania Lords of Shadow isn't a proper platformer Castlevania but it's a fantastic game nonetheless.

I loved the first one. The aesthetics, the humour, the music, the levels design... It has flaws but it's also unique. The whole product is an unmistakeable Tim Schafer game. And that, to me, it's always good.

First was individual installers due to each game coming in its own physical medium.
Then Steam came and for long time was the only one centralised platform to have it all.
After that, more centralised platforms appeared here and there to some extent.
Now there are quite a few platforms and the trend seems to llok at more in the future.
At the end it will be the same like before but without the physical medium.

Life's a circle.
