Total Annihilation is my all-time favourite RTS, too! Glad to see that Gilbert is coming over to the Linux way of thinking.

Quoting: fleskGo toQuoting: Liam DaweBut when it crashes on launch, how do you even get to the menu to enable it?Quoting: fleskI'm also having the crash on launch with Nvidia graphics that is mentioned in the article, and I have no idea how to enable Vsync. The game works well with Intel graphics though, although only on low graphics settings, which doesn't look all that great. Still enjoying the game a lot so far though, and I've just gotten into the city. It's should be a clearly labelled option in the main menu.

This is the first game I have pre-ordered since Repton 3 :-) Having completed - and really enjoyed - the demo, I can't wait for the full experience!

So many driver versions! Would anyone suggest that I am still best to use the 440.66.17 version if I am regularly using Steam with Vulkan games?

You still need to apply some unofficial patches if you want to use kernel 5.6 or 5.7 though. I've just done this on my Tumbleweed system and the drivers installed fine.
What have you been playing recently?

Been playing Atom RPG: Trudograd, and am now waiting for some new content :-) The references to The Usual Suspects are great!
I have also been getting into Into The Breach. Frustrating but a very engaging strategy game.
Finally, there's always time for some Mario Kart 8 on the Switch with my daughter!

I got into RPGs playing the Eye of the Beholder series in the early 90s (all pirated, but now I have legit copies!).
My favourite series of that era was the Might & Magic games, though, which I started with M&M 3. Currently, my all-time favourite RPG is Skyrim though I am really enjoying the Atom series :-)

Hope I'm not hijacking the thread, but I was speaking with some teenage Windows gamers online earlier on and the actual response of one was, "Stadia? Yikes!". They all agreed!
They had the opinion that it was way too pricey for the service offered and that they would be more interested in GeForce Now (though one chap was showing off his AMD GPU!). They also liked the idea of Linux but still were under the impression that there were no games available for our OS :-)
