My take: If US payment processors get a say what is and isn't allowed on Steam, so should every government in whose jurisdiction Steam sells any games. Otherwise, they should just stay the fuck out of it.Well they already do. Not globally, but you couldn't buy most of the porn-games in Germany or games that are "indexed [External Link]" like Dying Light for example.

ntsync should already be in 6.15. For example in arch linux it's build as a module.
sudo modprobe ntsync should be all you need to do.

Quoting: ShmerlWhich games does it help? I didn't particularly notice any major changes from it. But I also didn't play that many lately. For me, significantly less stutters in star citizen. In fact, even less stuttering than with dxvk-async.

Quoting: EschguyIt's tempting, but I wish we could at least look through the pool of potential games...Usually there's a Reddit post where people post what they got. And usually these mystery bundles aren't worth it.
AMD GPU driver on Linux and Steam Deck to get big improvement on stuttering problems

BTW for all who want to check it out. It got introduced in mesa 22.3.0 and you have to set RADV_PERFTEST=gpl

Quoting: EhvisI've enabled proton experimental for a couple of games and it works nicely. It doesn't completely eliminate stutter, but it's definitely a big step up. The biggest test for it was Star Citizen, which still has noticeable stutter but more in line with DXVK_ASYNC builds. And a far cry from the multiple second stalls with plain DXVK.If you use GPL right now, the shader cache gets disable. So your games will stutter much more at the beginning because it hast to build all shaders for each session. DXVK_ASYNC still works much better, even though it might corrupt your cache, it's still better than not having one at all.

Ark is generally a buggy mess, but the linux version was also the definition of a bad port. Here's an old comparison, when dxvk just started to run some games. https://youtu.be/bRSSuJtafRg [External Link]

BTW at Fall Guys.. There is also a clone one steam called Stumble Guys [External Link]. It's very close, but faster match making, no EAC and also no epic account needed. It just works with proton. Oh, and it's free.
There's already over 1,200 titles either Verified or Playable for Steam Deck

Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing gets a huge physics update, new racing environment

Quoting: cprnWell, Liftoff has way better UI, is more user friendly, has nicer graphics and insanely fast drones (like 2x faster) and setting up the RC controller is a breeze. Velocidrone has more realistic flight speeds, slightly better physics (I think it comes to drag simulation but maybe there's more) and way better drone sounds simulation (the feedback on throttle control is awesome) but I couldn't set up the controller properly. Liftoff has less official maps (15 compared to 25, I think) but more polished. When I last checked only Liftoff was on Steam which made it very convenient to install and easier to browse community made content. So yeah, Velocidrone might be better for pros and semi-pros who want to focus on realistic simulation but when it comes to gaming and flight for pleasure I personally prefer Liftoff. All good, both have their advantages and disadvantages. Veloci just hasn't shown up on GOL yet. I just want to point out another great linux native FPV racing simulation. So it possibly gets some more attention here with upcoming updates. :)
