Well, they gave the game for free to anyone who played the beta so I guess most people who were interested in the game already owned it so they probably didn't have many sales anyway.

Valve also said they're working on a new "Invisible" mode where you're shown as offline, but you will be able to actually see your friends list and message people.

It's already possible to see your friend list when offline (by visiting the friends tab of your profile) and messaging too (by clicking "Send Message" on a friend's profile). Though the chat window doesn't update and you have to close and reopen it to get new messages.
Still nice that they're gonna add an invisible mode, that should make it easier to use :)

I don't think it's that bad that they don't give Steam keys out for free. They aren't obligated to.
If someone wants to use the game with steam they can use the "Add a Non-Steam game to Steam" feature. The only thing people can't do is buy the Epic and Legendary Packs through steam (and use some other Steam features like achievements if they choose to implement those later).
I can actually understand this decision from a company's perspective since nothing stops people from just giving the Steam key to someone else since they already own a copy of the game.

Feral use source wrapping. VirtualProgramming use static translation (binary wrapping). Wine allows both methods for the reference.

Do you have an example for a source wrapped game/program using wine? Or is that just a "theoretical" possibility?

Some unity games have problems with specific versions of SDL (e.g. Ultimate Chicken Horse [External Link] or The Long Dark [External Link]. Maybe the fullscreen problems are of similar nature?

Mandatory "The Witcher 3" but knowing that that would be quite unlikely I will go with Men of War: Assault Squad 2.
The devs planned OpenGL support. Not sure whether they implemented that or not but if they did it should make porting quite a bit easier.
