Let's hope the ones crossing over do not come into contact with GNOME desktop first. Otherwise they might start to find windows 11 not so bad after all. ;-)

Creative Assembly in pre-production for the next Total War: THREE KINGDOMS

Quoting: GuestI would say mostly customers just don't care. I recall using the gathered data from Tomb Raider 2013 being used for PR campaigns about the game and nobody batted an eyelid.
Probably true in more than one way: the peeple that care may never bckome customers and the one that do...probably do not care.

Still not a smart move since you are basically communicating that you have absolutely nothing of significance to say about the product.
They may not lose the people that do not care about these things but they also do nothing to broaden the customer base. A simple "Look here! New game!" would have done a better job (less annoyance, same advertising). If I was paying them for marketing my product I would have serious questions about where they see themselves in a week or two from now.

Edit: Use as you see fit: ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ;-)

I wonder when marketing teams will realise that highlighting data gathered by unnecessary in game analytics is not a smart move if they want to gain customers.

Flat, weird spacing, ghastly colours: good job, Valve!

Maybe one of these days they try to fix something that could actually be useful like the crackling of their build in voice-chat or the resource wastefulness of their new design.

I wonder when someone will try to sue the Epic Store - after all they have been giving away about 200 games for free by now, thus effectively devaluating the product and binding consumers free time so there will be less interest in buying games overall. ;-)

OpenRazer 3.0.0 expands with many new Razer devices supported on Linux

Quoting: NezchanOpenRazer doesn't seem to pick up my Deathadder v2 at all, so Polychromatic has nothing to work with. Bit of a disappointment, really.
It should work after the plugdev fix I mentioned, Nezchan. I was in the same boat - OpenRGB only saw my motherboard's fan, while Polychromatic failed to load. After plugdev and a reboot, it all sprang to life. Now I can use either/or OpenRGB/Polychromatic with my Deathadder v2.

You're on Ubuntu-Mate, while I'm on Pop_OS 20.04, so hopefully there's enough crossover that this can work for you.
Nope. Followed all the steps and still nothing. Although I'm still working with 2.5.0 (the current build hasn't made it to the MATE repository yet) so maybe that's got something to do with it. But I have my doubts.

I'm planning to do a complete reinstall once the new OS version comes out in any case though.
deathadder v2 is supported since openrazer version 2.8 - works fine with policromatic and v3.0 here

Total War: ROME REMASTERED announced with cross-platform multiplayer
26 Mar 2021 at 6:33 am UTC

Cross-platform Multiplayer: Players can enjoy cross-platform multiplayer between Windows, macOS and Linux, a first for the Total War franchise.
I know I have repeatedly asked for this feature for the franchise and the effort is appreciated, but if I remember correctly Rome does not have a multiplayer campaign...
Still - one of the few remasters that actually peeked my interest!
