Sweet! Glad to hear that's running. I've only ever played the two Symphonia games that came out on the Gamecube and Wii but I loved the hell out of them.

Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark. Mouthful of a title, but a great turn-based strategy game.

I am currently going back and grinding the hell out of old levels, not because it's necessary (it's really not unless you're a poor strategist) and not because I like grinding (hate it actually), but just because I am not ready for the game to be over so I am delaying the final fight as long as I can.

Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark is a mighty fine turn-based RPG and the full release is out now

I'm glad you said something about the art. I'm going to buy the game, it sounds great on paper so that is a no-brainer, but every time I see a trailer or even screenshot, I get a little turned off. I couldn't articulate why.

Perfect! I built a Linux system for my girls about a year ago. They love it, but for some reason Childsplay has completely stopped launching so they don't have a lot of games they like on it anymore.

I hate rhythm games - largely because I have no rhythm and hate electronic music.

But I am a huge board gamer and even if Tabletop Simulator is the only VR game in my library, I still very much want a headset.

Two years ago, I would have been super excited for this. However, an ill-advised attempt to revisit some of my favorite old games (damn you, GOG! You vile temptress!) last year told me that I am not patient enough anymore for this sort of exploration.

Gloomhaven, the dungeon-crawling adaptation of the board game should see Linux support at release

@Salvatos Sounds a lot like Shadows of Brimstone. If so, that's awesome.

What have you been playing recently and what do you think of it?

Chroma Squad.

I was a little iffy about it at first - I tend to dislike Japanese pop culture (my tolerance for 'wierd for no reason' is really low), I was just getting too old for Power Rangers when they first hit so I only watched like the first season of the first series, and I am not a fan of games going for the retro console aesthetic unless there's a good reason for it. But I love turn-based combat and it kept piling up good reviews so I am finally getting around to it. And I frickin love it.

I'm still not comfortable supporting this. While I appreciate that he apologized for his colossal screw-up, I am just not sure I buy that said apology wasn't just damage control after the backlash started.

Been having that same sort of graphics issue with Throne of Lies. Looking forward to trying this when I get home tonight.
