YouTube thought my Steam Deck video was 'harmful and dangerous'

As good as technology is, just goes to show how we are not at the point where bots are making bots?
Human errors in the programming of them, on what to look out for in the YouTube realm? Loads of people getting age restrictions on the game Mortuary Assistant. Some YouTube creators were getting age restrictions, whilst others posting the same content were not. I always thought that if you set your content up as not being for kids, then that means for adults only.
Obviously YouTube creators who are making a living out of YouTube, want as many people to see their content as possible, but then why put a choice of for kids and not for kids when uploading video, if it isn't read properly by the bot, that is in place to make sure that the content being uploaded is stated as such by the up-loader??
YouTube relies too much on tech to do their job. To go through a billion odd videos a day, can not be kept an eye on by human eye alone. They need to pull in their bots and go through the code though, as the amount of errors these bots are making is diabolical. All it does is confuse the hell out of the the content creator. They also need to make their guidelines more transparent, as the bot does not tell creators as to why their video has had to have an age restriction? Or what part of the video is deemed age restrictive?

It's another reminder that moderation bots are stupid and having all your eggs in one basket is not a great idea either.

Quoting: Beamboomthought this game didn't run well on desktop Linux? Has that changed? It runs beautifully. You will notice some frame drops to begin with, but once you buy some web swing skills with XP points, the frame rates go up and up.

Quoting: melkemindIt was running fine for me yesterday but has crashed multiple times today. It's hard to tell if it's because of something in ProtonUnfortunately AMD users do have games crash on them from time to time. No doubt you've brought the visual settings down too? Hopefully the update patch will sort it out for you?

Quoting: Mountain ManPerformance is not perfect as I do notice occasional framerate dips as Spider-Man swings through the city, but it doesn't affect gameplay. I'm playing on the medium graphics preset which look pretty good to me.I noticed frame drops too, but once you unlock and buy some web swing skills, with XP points the game's frames go up and up, scarily like PS4. I have just completed it on easy mode, going to go through it on Normal, then Hard, then ultimate. Just cannot put this game down. Miles Morales should be out by the time I fully complete this game with all difficulty levels completed, side missions too. I'm just so happy to be away altogether from Windows. I cried when I first booted this game up, at the sheer beauty of this game running on my free and open source machine. I still keep pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming, that we all can play Windows games in Linux, with hardly any tinkering. When Valve announced about Proton back in 2018, did not think it was going to go anywhere and also thought it was not going to work, but now look where we are? Four years on and shocked at how we get first day releases working. The Steam Deck what a brilliant piece of tech. I use the Steam Deck as a tool, even though I don't own one, if it runs on Steam Deck, it'll run on Desktop.

Saves having to boot my PS4 up, which has been put away with all my other consoles. This game is absolutely stunning, a fantastic port to PC. Seeing the Steam Deck running it so well, is amazing. I'm in two minds to get a Steam Deck, as majority of games that can in Steam Deck, can run just fine on Desktop.

Quoting: mAdCraZyaJIt is such a good game. I’m going to be urging my buddies that didn’t play it on PlayStation to pick it up! Hopefully the Nvidia related bugs get patched up soon though.I have got it going, Proton Experimental with NVIDIA 3060. Playing on medium to high settings.

If only we could get the GOXLR to work with this as well. I have to keep booting into Windows to load my settings, then switch back to my Linux Computer. Have not got the sound effects, but have the cussing button the beep. Wish manufacturers or developers of the software that goes with the Windows only Hardware, would just think of Linux users as well. How hard is it to write the same software for Linux? Surely use the original piece of software for Windows as a template?

Making Nemo Default is a breeze too. Do not uninstall your original file manager though.
In Terminal
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background show-desktop-icons false
xdg-mime default nemo.desktop inode/directory application/x-gnome-saved-search
Enable Nemo to open in your terminal
gsettings set org.cinnamon.desktop.default-applications.terminal exec terminal of choice

Quoting: iiariYes some Cinnamon stuff, but nothing major that will make it feel like you're installing Mint itself.Quoting: clatterfordslimNever been a fan of Dolphin, like Nautilus it's too locked down. So whenever trying a new OS, I install Nemo.KDE Manjaro and Nemo fan here as well, but I haven't installed Nemo in a few years because I seem to remember installing Nemo feeling like it was also installing half of Mint to get it to work. Is that still the case?

Never been a fan of Dolphin, like Nautilus it's too locked down. So whenever trying a new OS, I install Nemo.
Nemo has all the features that is missing in other file managers. Moving and copying files to home folder folders, plus external or other drives that Nemo lists on right click of said file. Caja in Mate has not got this feature. Caja only sends file to desktop or home folder, not the individual folders. Duplication of files, making links to, extracting compressed files, open as root, preview of thumbnail when choosing a picture to upload from Pictures or wherever the picture is? These are all what I like about Nemo. Linux Mint Team really done a brilliant job with their file manager.
I always set Nemo to run as default and with a few gsetting commands in Terminal, can get Nemo to function as the original default file manager did or does. I use Manjaro XFCE for gaming and have Nemo set as default on there. I use Linux Mint XFCE Ulyssa as my Daily OS and that is running Nemo too, as I do not like Thunar. Have KDE Manjaro the community edition in Virtualbox and have set Nemo as default, all the screen effects are working flawlessly, going to be installing it on my old 2008 Windows 8 ready, that never saw Windows 32GB of Ram ASUS gaming machine, now used as a media PC, as Manjaro KDE is the best I've ever used through out the KDE family from Kubuntu to Neon. KDE Manjaro just does what it's to supposed to do, which all the other KDE desktops should do without breaking. Maybe because Neon and Kubuntu are heavily with Ubuntu I don't know? As Distro Tube said on YouTube and I highly agree, Canonical are concentrating to much on Snaps, which most people including myself do not like.

Who would use it in their right mind? I don't use Chrome because of the blasted telemetry, that fills the Internet wherever you go on it. Google have the monopoly there. Is there such a thing as privacy any more? I use Firefox and not the Snaps version either. Brave Browser for streaming Netflix, Disney+, BBC_iplayer, ITV HUB, Channel 4, MY5, UK-TV-Play. Although I cannot see the difference between using Firefox or Brave, as they both open to my own HTML homepage stored for Firefox /usr/lib/firefox/homepage Braves is in /opt/brave.com/brave-beta/homepage. This way it saves on reading the net when opening.
Use Edge on Linux and you're surely to run into user collections from Microsoft and Google? I'm fed up with all the telemetry that is the Internet these days. Take me back to Gnome 2 days please, where the model for Linux was perfect and faster than anything we have today. Get rid of Mobile Media Devices too and go back to where no one knew where anyone was. The world was happier then.
