KDE finally gets root operations in Dolphin, big 2022 plans for Wayland

Never been a fan of Dolphin, like Nautilus it's too locked down. So whenever trying a new OS, I install Nemo.
Nemo has all the features that is missing in other file managers. Moving and copying files to home folder folders, plus external or other drives that Nemo lists on right click of said file. Caja in Mate has not got this feature. Caja only sends file to desktop or home folder, not the individual folders. Duplication of files, making links to, extracting compressed files, open as root, preview of thumbnail when choosing a picture to upload from Pictures or wherever the picture is? These are all what I like about Nemo. Linux Mint Team really done a brilliant job with their file manager.
I always set Nemo to run as default and with a few gsetting commands in Terminal, can get Nemo to function as the original default file manager did or does. I use Manjaro XFCE for gaming and have Nemo set as default on there. I use Linux Mint XFCE Ulyssa as my Daily OS and that is running Nemo too, as I do not like Thunar. Have KDE Manjaro the community edition in Virtualbox and have set Nemo as default, all the screen effects are working flawlessly, going to be installing it on my old 2008 Windows 8 ready, that never saw Windows 32GB of Ram ASUS gaming machine, now used as a media PC, as Manjaro KDE is the best I've ever used through out the KDE family from Kubuntu to Neon. KDE Manjaro just does what it's to supposed to do, which all the other KDE desktops should do without breaking. Maybe because Neon and Kubuntu are heavily with Ubuntu I don't know? As Distro Tube said on YouTube and I highly agree, Canonical are concentrating to much on Snaps, which most people including myself do not like.

Who would use it in their right mind? I don't use Chrome because of the blasted telemetry, that fills the Internet wherever you go on it. Google have the monopoly there. Is there such a thing as privacy any more? I use Firefox and not the Snaps version either. Brave Browser for streaming Netflix, Disney+, BBC_iplayer, ITV HUB, Channel 4, MY5, UK-TV-Play. Although I cannot see the difference between using Firefox or Brave, as they both open to my own HTML homepage stored for Firefox /usr/lib/firefox/homepage Braves is in /opt/brave.com/brave-beta/homepage. This way it saves on reading the net when opening.
Use Edge on Linux and you're surely to run into user collections from Microsoft and Google? I'm fed up with all the telemetry that is the Internet these days. Take me back to Gnome 2 days please, where the model for Linux was perfect and faster than anything we have today. Get rid of Mobile Media Devices too and go back to where no one knew where anyone was. The world was happier then.

I only just got my gaming Laptop which is an ASUS TUF FX505DU 15.6" Full HD 120Hz Gaming Laptop (AMD Ryzen 5 3550H, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660Ti 6GB Graphics, 512 GB PCI-E SSD boot drive, 2TB SSD for home folder, 32GB RAM. I had to upgrade the ram as it originally had only 8GB. I'm running Linux Mint 20 on it and games perform really well. I play games at work on night shift, the only downside is the noisy fan when under stress. Why on earth would someone want to buy this laptop to replace a Desktop? Surely building your own Desktop is far cheaper.

This blooming generation we live in, saying the masks in this video game, yes video game, fictional not real yet people are complaining about it. In my day we had Jim Davidson on the TV doing impressions of how African people speak, he just got laughed at no one complained. This whole racist thing has gone too far, from knocking down statues to protesting in crowds, breaking the distancing laws. I am not racist in any way, shape or form, but this generation has gone completely mad, finding fault in everything and now in a computer game. So future generations will follow in their parents footsteps and carry on destroying history and take away freedom of speech, art, creativity altogether. Bring back Alf Garnett in Till Death Do Us Part and you'll see what real racism in character is actually like, but back then we all laughed about it. Then a couple of weeks ago they were going to take down the Germans episode of Fawlty Towers, which was made back in 1975. Instead of taking it down they have put a warning up saying it might upset some viewers. It's pure genius comedy from the mind of John Cleese from Monty Python. Sorry to go on, but really as if we all ain't got enough to worry about.

I upgraded my Lenovo Yoga 500 to a 500GB SSD and 8GB of ram and it's running Peppermint OS 10 Re-Spin flawlessly. I love Lenovo they are a great company, would be nice to see them with other Linux Distros too in the future. :D

So her name's Tasia they pronounce an a and I'm spelling it as. Or it should be Tasiah, Tasi ahh, as there is a half second pause, making it sound as though sand got in her eyes, or is that just sleepy dust? Either way I'm intriegued, intreiged intriggered, intrigued. Hooray got there in the end. :D

I've just been playing the hell out of Resident Evil 2 Remake in Proton, it runs flawlessly on my build. Trying to find all the Raccoons and all of the other collectibles. Like a lot of AAA games once you take away the cut scenes and just go to the end of the game, it's about an hour of game play. In my view playing this title in Linux is far smoother than on anything else. I just like watching Claire and Ada running around in their tight clothes. If you actually explore everything, you get to find some pretty good stuff, plus the longevity increases. I'm addicted to this game at the moment. Picked up Plague Innocence and it works out of the box, which will be my next game to conquer.

Dying Light on Linux has come an awful long way, from when it was first ported. Smooth and silky it runs. :D Or is it because I play it with modern gaming hardware? Actually the dev team's hard work and dedication to keep this game running smooth.

I have a BT box hooked up to a 50Hertz 32" cheap German made TV and it only runs at 720p fine because my eyesight is getting worse. I have never seen the benefit in having or owning a 4K Monitor or TV, as none of the TV networks in the world actually broadcast in 4K or 8K. Just a gimmick to my mind. This Atari looks good and Mr Mark Greaves from Peppermint, before he died asked me to let him know how installing Peppermint on this goes? As I'm going to buy one and still let him know, well his family and the Peppermint Forums know and a YouTube Video too. So I for one am looking forward to this coming out.
