There are also some other servers where there are people most of the time. I know about one that has Antistasi mission always on and most of the time there are people (sometimes even around 20 players).

Speaking of EAC, I found out that in the new Insurgency Sandstorm there is a 4.2MiB easyanticheat_x64.so file ... maybe they are working on a Linux version.

Yeah there is. Its called emp's Missions server (similarity with my nick is purely random :D). Actually there is a merged Linux/Mac community around Arma 3. Not that many people, but still better than playing MP alone IMHO.

You're talking about accessing that by buying Windows version and doing some steps to access experimental port.

That is not a finished port,even they not finished the launcher.

The only step you need to do is click Install in steam, you have to do this for all the games you want to play on steam.

No you wont be able to play Dayz Standalone, but you might try some Dayz like mods for Arma 3. Exile mod (with other mods) and Epoch mod are aiming to deliver some zombie apocalypse.

The battleye does not work as supposed, because almost all the servers will kick because of unknown Battleye version. I was trying to start my server, but the server version for the experimental port is still only 1.54 :(
