I have the VR headset but not the AMD graphics card, anyway I'll test it as soon as I can.

While it's sad for Mac owners, it's perfectly understandable as the platform is becoming less open for developpers outsisde of Apple's walled garden. And if the rumor of Apple to drop x86 in favor of Arm is true it will be even more difficult to support.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla announced, will release on Stadia but no Steam release (EGS)

While I trully enjoyed Assassin Creed Odyssey, which works perfectly on Steamplay/Proton... I will probably pass on this one until it's reported working perfectly on Lutris with a huge discount.

I bought SFV just to test it (currently 8 bucks) and Wow... The game will go from "borked" to "platinum" in no time on ProtonDB now :)
Half-Life: Alyx arrives today (Linux should come later) and CS:GO gets Alyx cosmetics

Delaying the game to solve Linux issues first would have been mad considering the small audience.

Quoting: GuestIf anyone needed any more proof that Valve cares about pushing Windows more than Linux, here you go. I thought they'd at least have Linux releasing at the same time, if not releasing Linux first to help promote Linux gaming. This kind of game must be in development for a long time, and the state of VR on Linux sadly lags behind because of several technical issues (proper to Linux and X11). The dev team had probably to move on while the Linux issues are being worked on.
Linux takes the back seat yet again. But as always, at least it's coming. Eventually. Hopefully.

I think it's best if they can do both a VR and a non VR game (not the same one). But they should keep doing some VR games, because the VR gear is expensive, and we also need more games to justify its purchase.

I can't wait to play this game... Unfortunately my Valve Index is still weeks away from shipping (I guess covid-19 is not helping), and I probably won't be able to play it before next month. I'll have to dodge the spoilers until then.
Half-Life: Alyx support for Linux aiming to arrive with Vulkan support post-release

My Valve Index is on its way, but I won't get it before launch time.
So I won't complain about the lack of native Linux support at launch. As Liam I understand that such a big game started its development way before Vulkan become a thing, so that probably explain the lack of official Linux support for now.

1. Cyberpunk 2077
2. Death stranding
3. The division 2 (actually unplayable on Wine/Proton because of anti-cheat)
