Quoting: MaCroX95Hopefully Valve will win, at least they are fighting for their freedom and consequently for user freedoms as well, only thing I can say so far.Well, fighting for their money. They are hardly doing it for our freedom :)

I remember putting that baby in there myself, knowing it was probably the closest I'm ever going to get to one :(

Quoting: scaineI don't get who/what these cards are aimed at?My old workplace (an engineering company) used to use a Titan for this modelling software they used. It required a really hard core PC. For them, installing the Titan cut their simulation time down by a matter of hours.

Yeah this was a great game. Sure it could be a little rough in parts but those things are easily forgiven. It also got pretty darn freaky!
The voice actors really made this game. It was annoying me for a long time trying to remember where I had heard the main female voice before, until I realised she was also Snow White in The Wolf Among Us.

Honestly it's not for everyone. There is a lot of reading, and also some pretty thought provoking stuff.
I personally regard as one of my all time favourite games.

Anyway, getting things back on track :)
It plays quite well in Linux, haven't had any real issues so far. Only thing of note is that sometimes the shortcuts icons (for inventory, character sheet etc) sometimes can be picky about when they are highlighted.
I'd forgotten how much reading was involved playing the previous Torment, and this is no different. It's like sitting down with a good book.
