Kickstarted this one and have been waiting for this one for a while. Really excited to see the finished product.

Reviews so far look good... Like classic Monkey Island / Maniac Mansion

Looks interesting! I always find stuff on this site that I have never heard of before.

Oxenfree is a clever, narrative driven supernatural thriller you should check out, my review

Yeah this was a great game. Sure it could be a little rough in parts but those things are easily forgiven. It also got pretty darn freaky!

The voice actors really made this game. It was annoying me for a long time trying to remember where I had heard the main female voice before, until I realised she was also Snow White in The Wolf Among Us.

Quoting: Geppeto35I know lot of people love this game. Did I miss something? The remaining of the game is identical to those 30 min?

Yep, you missed something ;)

Honestly it's not for everyone. There is a lot of reading, and also some pretty thought provoking stuff.

I personally regard as one of my all time favourite games.

Anyway, getting things back on track :)

It plays quite well in Linux, haven't had any real issues so far. Only thing of note is that sometimes the shortcuts icons (for inventory, character sheet etc) sometimes can be picky about when they are highlighted.

I'd forgotten how much reading was involved playing the previous Torment, and this is no different. It's like sitting down with a good book.

How do you move around and shoot things? Do you use mouse and keyboard still, or those little hand held dongle things?

GDC sounds like it will be fun this year with AMD, NVIDIA, Khronos, Unity & Croteam all talking Vulkan

Quoting: TheRiddickSo the only platforms not supporting Vulkan is iOS and XB1, and that is because their stuck so far up their own as**** to even see the horizon...

Well it can work with Apple... using MoltenVK. But yeah it's very disappointing they didn't use Vulkan straight up.

It's not a bad little game. I'd encourage people to try it out.

Quoting: ShmerlThey answered the question about cloaks though:

Quote@Feargus: By the way, will cloaks work on Linux this time around?

Feargus [developer]
I'm going to go out on a limb and say yes, because I am pretty sure we've gone with a completely different system.

Another comment from Feargus, just to reinforce what you were saying.

"We have gone with a totally different rendering system for cloaks, so you are all good on Linux."

Insta-backed for me. I love all of their RPGs, some more than others of course. But still my favourite type of games on the market.
