Yeah I've been waiting on this one for a while. Glad to hear it's getting closer to a release!

Some thoughts on 'The Dwarves', the new action RPG from KING Art, a bit unpolished

Yeah I'm getting a few random crash to desktops as well. I don't know about the controls... I'm not really liking the combat so far to be honest.

The first game wasn't too bad. Works in wine if anyone is really keen.

I was thinking about getting my missus to play though that. I think she would enjoy it, but also be suitably creeped out.

I own Civ 5, and thought it's really well done. I'd like to play 6 but I can never find the time these days! The Civ series is easily one of the biggest time sinks - one of those games where you suddenly realise you're still playing at 3am.

I'm more drawn to things I can easily drop in and out of now, or finish quickly.

I backed this one through Kickstarter. It's not a bad game, it's just a shame it didn't have a bigger budget to play with. The music and background art are quite well done. Has a bit of a Monkey Island style feel.

The animations are a bit of a let down though, and I'm not sure if the voice of Duke (also Duke Nukem) is quite the right fit. That could just be how I imagine him sounding in my head though.

The controls are also a little clunky, though pretty easy to pick up. The puzzles themselves don't seem too taxing (so far!)

Quoting: hidekinI could max out the game in 4k with a 770 at 60fps with windows. I don't know what configuration you've but if the port is good it wouldn't be so difficult :D
But could you mad max it out? ;)

What have you been playing recently, and what do you think?

Very fun stealth game, and one I may actually finish.
Same. Aragami has been fun - and frustrating when I screw up!

Have also gone back to Pillars of Eternity, to try and get it knocked over before Tyranny comes out.

The test download worked fine for me, just had to follow the included text file. Game looks good, so hopefully they can do it quickly!
