And the following month, in roundtable interviews with PC Gamer, Newell said that Valve was working on "three big VR games."
  • Half Life 3

  • Portal 3

  • Left 4 Dead 3

I am less sure about the last one but the first two seems obvious.
Portal 3 is the obvious choice for a VR game. I'm not so sure about HL3

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun beta patch dramatically improves performance and load times

Quoting: PatolaThis game is on my wishlist, I am really looking forward to buying it at some time. Curiously enough, at some time I bought the game "Satellite Reign" because I found it beautiful and it was super cheap, but I thought it was a simple action game, or in the best case a dumbed-down action RPG. After trying to play it a few times and being killed at every minute, I let it down for a while, and at some time I started looking at some gameplays and saw that the game is incredibly sophisticated, complex and rich, and THEN I started using tactical and strategic thinking and now I am addicted to it, enjoying every little moment, and somehow upset because it offers "only" about 90 hours of gameplay. So, I saw that Shadow Tactics is pretty much the same kind of game (a weird mix of RPG + RTS) and I will buy this game to fuel my newly acquired addiction. Any of you know any good games in that style for Linux besides Satellite Reign and Shadow Tactics?
I own both and while on the surface they may look similar, they are totally different genre imo. Satellite Reign has rpg/progression components and the world is more "sandboxy", and people compare it with the old Syndicate (I haven't played it) while Shadow Tactics is a Commandos-like: each level is carefully designed, enemies have a predictable behaviour and everything is laid out almost like a puzzle that you have to solve using specific abilities of each of your characters.

There are not many games like those, let alone in linux. I would take a look at Commandos 1+2; they are old games but still let themselves play very well and at least the first works in Wine without a problem. Also "Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive" and "Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood"

Quoting: scaineBloodwych! Nostalgia ahoy! I played hundreds of hours of that as an early teen with my best friend at the time, two characters each. Amazing game.

Also, Hired Guns - not joking, me and three mates completed that over various sessions by playing two mice plugged into the Amiga, and one player on each side of the keyboard. What a game!

But yeah, it was Dungeon Master that made it all possible. Completed it countless times - four player party, three player party, two player party, but I don't think I managed it with just a single character.

So, yeah, played a lot of these - Fall of the Dungeon Guardians was the most recent one, but I found it just too much to keep track of. Much more tactical than something like Legend of Grimrock.
Bloodwych was my first RPG ever IIRC when I was like 8-10 years old :)

If you are up to it, try Eye Of The Beholder I and II. These two are dungeon crawler perfection imo. The first one is not that long, but it has extremely good atmosphere and straight forward mechanics.

Don't you have a problem with game color? I've just start playing and no matter what the color of the game is light green. More people have this problem on Linux :( (steam topic [External Link]).
Yeah, I have that problem, too. What are you going to do? *shrugs*

I cried like a fountain with Undertale! Still need to play To The Moon. So many great games, so little time!
To The Moon is only 4 hours, there is no excuse. I would recommend playing it in one sitting, tho.
